supersavers still out there

Damo is right you have to book at least 3 nights to get super saver rates but great deal anyway cause we normaly pay $207 a night with AAA in june for RPR and this year went with super saver rate and are only paying $152 a night

i have 6/27 & 6/28 (Sat & Sun) booked @ AAA rate PBH approx $260

have been playing around all month trying to get the SuperSaver rate to appear, different variations - adding both Friday prior & then again tried for 3 days adding Monday after, disappointing results

the rate (while listed as SuperSaver on U website) was exactly the same as the AAA rates I have booked

congrats on all who scored though, trust me, i'll keep checkin

Janet, plugged in your dates and I getting $304 so looks like you got a good deal, too

Correction: I just plugged in 26 checking out on 29 (3 nights) and put in AAA in special codes box and came up with $258.40 for PBH

as of yesterday, no SS past oct 8th at rph.

i booked with the 8th as a start date and the TM said no SS rates for RPH for my time period.


the AAA rate was better than the APH for my dates.

I'm still hopeful for a change in rates for october.

did u see the supersaver? it was there yesterday...i had considered adding a day onto trip if the rates dropped dramatically with it, i'm just going to stand pat

ive heard that loews has balking as to the SS rate as upgradeable under YouFirst , i didn't have any problem w/AAA yet sure wouldn't want to take a chance & mess up current upgrade; any success stories with this new round of SS releases?

We're going 8/24-8/31. I wonder if we will be eligible for the book then.
Maybe I should call and ask. Which number did you call? Was it the number from Loews website or Universal website?

I called the one on the Universal website, but ended up being transferred to the rooms only #. Sorry I don't have it--I've tossed it.

Well, I called and was told that since I booked room only and not a package, I was note eligible for coupon booklet.

The YouFirst program is a Loews program you can sign up for, for free. You start out at the basic level and the benefits are few. The more stays you rack up, the more you "move up" in the program.

When it states 3rd party booking this means make your own reservation--not AAA or some other agency. You can apply a AAA rate to your ressie, but do it yourself.
