Supermarket help please

Cheetos are right up there for us as well. Oh and LAYS. Last time we also discovered Jingo's crackers. Other items on the list are mint oero cookies, graham cracker crumbs, Ghirardelli brownie mixes, grape jelly and fresh key limes which you can buy a net of. (DH loves key lime pie and its just not the same made with normal limes) and corn bread mixes. Loads of other stuff on top of that:goodvibes

Oh yes! Mint Oreos! Bring them on!!! x

We fly on the Friday 18th -1st Nov so will arrive just as you leave : ( but look forward to hearing all about your trip . Do know that people have said its cheaper to buy the blow up ring to use in the pool from Walmart as they charge a hirer fee . Also you have to pay a parking fee at the hotel so this and the park parking is going to add up . DH didn't want to do on site property even tho we were offered a good deal at the time of booking with DDP , so after paying car parking and food ect would of been better off on site . Think they charge for wifi too . Hoping they have a fridge in the room so will get milk ect for breakfast and disposable bowls so we can get to the parks early . Looking forward to MNSSHP and the food & wine festival . First time in florida so hoping we do ok with the driving as we land at Sanford . Have bought the Dibb map that is very good as a back up and been good for me to mark things and try and plan at bit . Everyone on this site has just been fantastic with helping me plan just wish DH & DS would show a interest !! Going to look at on site next time because I know once there DH will want to go back !! Found the touring plans useful too and just seen on Facebook a map showing times ect for MNSSHP so can plan that now too .

We fly out on 18th too until 1st! Where are you flying from? x

We always shop at the Walmart on the Junction of the 192 and Oren Brown Road as its the closest to our villa.

They know people spend a LOT of time in there, so they opened a McDonalds IN the store up back!!

(As an aside, if you want to see what a typical rural residential florida road looks like away from the 'tourist' parts of town, drive up Oren Brown Rd from Walmart - its a snapshot of florida 'out in the sticks'! Turning right at the end brings you back up to the 192 at the junction where Poinciana Blvd splits north and south)

We use the other one at the other end of the 192, that's got a McD's just over the road.

My DD (13) has her own shopping list for Walmart. It's one of the first things we do...... Well Drop cases of at villa, then McD's for extra thick milkshake then over the road to spend a few hours round Walmart

We  WALMART

we always go to the winn dixie that's about 3 minutes from downtown disney.
It's just across the street from walgreens (another favorite haunt of ours).

That's the one we go to as well. I was a tad surprised to find Maccy D's in there and we did of course go in there, it'd be rude not too:rotfl:

DW always asks me why I go super-sized with my meals at Burger King on the odd occasion i get one from there - i just say it reminds me of 'regular' at MaccyD's in florida!!! :rotfl:

Another Walmart fan here. I love trying new foods for our breakfasts and packed lunches.

On our way home our hand luggage weighed 36kg between three of us and it was all American sweets, pastries and my favourite Cinnamon And Brown Sugar breakfast biscuits.

My case contained quite a bit more too.

Gotta love Uniteds hand luggage policy!
