Rode a ride just like Manta at Six Flags Great America. You stand up to load then it rotates you to the face down position. Its very cool and my 9 yo loved it! It was a very unique experience to go thru a loop the complete opposite way, your on the outside of the loop instead of the inside. Very strange feeling. Loved the ride though.

Although I've never been on it I have seen it on one of the Travel Channel theme park specials. It does look very cool, but someone would have to give me a pep talk to get on it, or maybe a bottle of silly pills.

Nothing a little liquid courage can't take care of for you.

Manta does look very similar to the coaster over here at Great America (Superman: Ultimate Flight), but looks like Sea World's will have a longer ride.
I hope Orlando's will have the pretzel loop; a breath-taking experience to be sure :scared1: I love it.

I'd ride with you Mindy. No pills or pep talk needed.

Do you think we could drink around the world and make it to Six Flags before the affects wore off? :rolleyes1 Ah heck Puck...I'd ride with you too! No questions asked.

I travel to downtown Chicago on occasion....Maybe my car can make a U-turn towards Gurnee.

We have Superman Ultimate flight in Great Adventure (NJ). I think the loop is the best part! When all you see is sky...:cloud9: So fun. It's not really intense though. We'll have to take a trip to Sea World to check this out. :goodvibes

Sea World Mousefest trip? Tell Paul Mr. Incredible is about to fly. :)

In June 2000 I rode the first Flying coaster. It was at Great America in California. The coaster was called Stealth. It was closed in 2003 to make way for a water park.:goodvibes
