Supercallifragilistic-ADR'sApproachUs! May '09 PTR *Trip Report has Begun! Pg. 208*

I was searching the transportation boards and found a good Southwest tip today! I was worried about checking into our flight home but people said that you could either access the southwest check in from a cell phone, I'm pretty sure mine allows me to do that OR you could have someone from home check you in. You will be able to print your boarding pass at the gate. I thought that was interesting, that way we can board first and make sure we sit together on the ride home. I think Marc could handle checking us in the day before. :thumbsup2 Does anyone have experience with this?

I really can't believe how many changes this trip has experienced since I started planning it. First it was Marc & I, then it was a solo trip for me, then Jen joined me for a few days and now my Mom joining me. Resort Changes, ADR Changes...phew! I'm exhausted. :faint:

You're exhausted...try keeping up with your stories online!!! :lmao:

How much do I have to walk this week to get my jogging 13 miles in the next 24 months???

Southwest- you can check in on your cell phone, the front desk can check you in if you want to waste valuable park time hanging out at the front desk, OR you can just wing it. ME gets you there SOOO early that you'll be fine. We still ended up in the "B" group checking in at the airport. Even the "C" group can usually get two seats together.

Hello....

You seem to be very knowledgable about everything Disney. So....

Which parks/attractions are best for our DS (7) and DD (3)? I want to make sure they are both able to come home feeling like they were never shafted and it was an amazing trip.

I am also pretty lost when it comes to the whole dining thing. We are going to do the Dining Plan. I am supposed to turn our requests into our agent in the morning. YIKES!! :scared:

I think there is just so much out there...it's very overwhelming.

If anyone of you could help me out....I would greatly appreciate it!!!

Oh...my DD will turn 4 while we are there. I am going to take her to Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. She is going to be so thrilled. She is such a girly girl! princess:

:cheer2:Oohhh, LL!! I"m SO EXCITED for you and your Mom!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:cheer2: What a great trip this is turning out to be!!! It was in the beginning too but you are REALLY keeping us on our toes girl with all these changes!! LOL!!:lmao:I may have to *steal* your idea on the questions for your Mom and use them on my Mom and Sis to plan our trip..would you mind?:confused3 I'm just so happy for you and your Mom!!!!!!!!

I'm so glad that your mom can join you! When I saw that you had an update, I was like "ooooh...maybe her mom can make it!" I was so excited to see that she could! When we went, it wasn't just my mom and I, but there were several instances when it was just the two of us at a park or something, and it was so much fun.

I loved your mom's answers on the survey, too, especially "that test drive ride." So cute! :rotfl:

Hey LL:

It's not a trip until you change your plans at least, hmmmm, 6 or 7 times. :thumbsup2

I am so glad you mom will be joining you. If she loves it 1/4 as much as you do, you'll start an annual tradition.

Even though you already told me, I am so happy for you and your mom. It was wonderful seeing the excitement in your face this morning.

Can't wait to see the pictures.
Thanks! I am very excited. :thumbsup2

How much do I have to walk this week to get my jogging 13 miles in the next 24 months???
I am going to PM the link to you. The one I want to do is, has you walking 5 days a week. 4 of those are just timed walks meaning you don't have to hit any certain distance and then one day you hit I think 3 miles for the first week.

Good to know! :thumbsup2

I think all the parks are great for little ones. Maybe some people with kiddos that follow along will have some suggestions too. Feel free to chime in everyone. :thumbsup2 I think the biggest piece of advice I would give you is to make sure you take breaks during the day. You don't want to get exhausted and not have a good time. :thumbsup2

My favorite places to eat at Disney are Crystal Palace, Hollywood Brown Derby, Liberty Tree Tavern, Kona Cafe...just to name a few. :rotfl2:

BBB will be so much for your little girl. princess:

Of course you can use my idea! I might have to keep giving her questions as I keep planning. I feel like every 5 minutes I think of something else that I want to do with her down in Disney. :cloud9:

I think it's going to be so much fun. I was actually surprised that they approved her time off so quickly. :woohoo:

This is very true, I just feel like I am changing plans at least once a week. :rotfl:

Here's hoping for an annual tradition! :worship:

Yay :cheer2: Your Mom is joining you!!! That will be so fun for both of you I am sure.

LL, I hope you don't mind if I chime in on the following:

Which parks/attractions are best for our DS (7) and DD (3)? I want to make sure they are both able to come home feeling like they were never shafted and it was an amazing trip.

I went last summer with my almost 7 and 3 1/2 year old boys. They were both tall enough to do all the rides they wanted to do (although they are not very brave so they didn't do too many "big" ones) Here is a list of their favorites:

MK: Goofy's Barnstormer, anything in Fantasyland except for maybe Snow White (too dark), Tomorrowland speedway, Astrorbiter, Monsters Laugh Floor and Country Bear Jamboree. The train was popular for an exit from the backside of the park and the LibertyBelle was a nice break. In retrospect, I would add the peoplemover and Carousel of Progress of things to do that we didn't.

Epcot: Soarin and Test Track!!!!! Turtle Talk is cute too. They both really enjoyed world showcase...get the passport and they can seek out the kids stations to get them stamped and talk to the CM's. They are also both dying to go back to try the Kim Possible thing they have now. We didn't explore Innoventions at all but would like to when we return.

DH: One word...TSMM!!! (yes, I realize that's not exactly a word!) It can't be beat! they also loved Playhouse Disney and the playground area in the backlot.

AK: They liked the safari except for the bridge part. The shows here are really good and we had good luck with the character lines too.

They also loved all the parades and fireworks, grab a snack and pull up some curb...they are worth the wait!

Have a great time!

I'm so glad that your mom is going to be able to go with you. I love her answers to your questions. :lmao: I love the plans so far, but I'm expecting a few ADR changes at least. :goodvibes

Welcome to the World of Wogging. :rotfl2:

I think you've found your title for a WISH board thread if you ever need one. :rotfl:

Yay :cheer2: Your Mom is joining you!!! That will be so fun for both of you I am sure.

WOO HOO!!

There will be changes, I am sure. That is the name of the game. :thumbsup2

I think you've found your title for a WISH board thread if you ever need one. :rotfl:
:lmao: It is a catchy title. I was thinking about doing one over there but I have to go see what the guidelines are and everything. :thumbsup2

I was 10 pages behind in just a few days of no DIS! Well, last night I tried to be on here, but the boards went down...:headache: :goodvibes

Anway, I WANNA WOG! My co-worker has become a runner over the last couple of years and I've been chatting with her a bit about it. I'd like to build up some sort of wogging schedule during the summer months around here-I think it would be a fun activity with Henry and help me loose these last 10 pounds I cannot seem to let go of!

And Princess Marathon in 2011, Princess gear and medal?! Tiara?! Yep, I'm in!

My Mom & I.

What a beautiful picture! I'm so excited that she's joining you on the trip. I love her survey responses...so cute. You are going to have a WONDERFUL time with her! :yay:

I am so excited for you! I would love it if my mom wanted to come to Disney with me. I am trying to get her to go in 2010 for a grand gathering. I love your survey. You are going to have so much fun! :goodvibes

YAY!! I'm so happy your Mom is joining you!! You guys will have a blast! Isn't it funny how years ago we were asking our Mom's to drop us off around the corner so no one would see you with your Mom and now Mom's become our best friends!

Yay, how exciting your mom is going with you!

I loved her survey answers, particularly the test drive ride. That is so cute. :goodvibes:laughing:

Your update sounds awesome! The pic of you and your mom is lovely! Your trip sure has taken many turns so far! I'm glad your Mom is making the trip with you it sounds like lots of fun!! :thumbsup2

Hi LL, that's great that your mom may be joining you this time around! It sounds like so much fun! Are you a scrapper, if so, you must do a mom and me scrapbook of your trip!:yay:
