I just booked our trip to stay at RPR in December! This will be my first trip back to Universal in 16 years. :cool1:

For those of you that used the superbowl free ticket, did you need to show id? If so, did they check the address? My id no longer matches the address from when I won.

TIA!

Do you have the voucher? I think it does have to match the address it was sent to, but I'm not 100% sure cause that's what I was told since I never received my voucher.

I have a different question if I may add to this thread. I won the SB free ticket and will be coming down next week I would like to have a season pass as I know I will be visiting my brother solo over the winter. My question is if turn my SB voucher in for the ticket can my wife use that ticket, so I can then purchase a season pass instead. TIA if anyone knows

Yes, I received the voucher in the mail. The funny thing is I never got the email confirmation.

So, do you think they'd turn it down? What if I had an old piece of mail?

I can't say for sure. Give their customer service line a call. I don't have it offhand, but its on the Universal website.

Just returned from Universal last week gave them my voucher and they didn't even ask for my id. My husband was at another window and they did ask to see his id, but barely looked at it. Guess it depends on who's working.

I turned my voucher in when we went in April. They did ask to see my ID and checked the voucher against my name and address They didn't make me sign the ticket at the window. Once I went through the turnstile with it they did make me sign the back. I suppose once I had the ticket in hand I could have given it to someone else.

If you use a passport for an ID it doesn't have your address on it:thumbsup2

i think it is on page 3 where it states you need to write your address in your passport on that page in pencil.

it is to be in pencil as people do change move.

i got nailed with not having my address in my passport when i used it last year at the airport.
had to show another id due to that.

I never received an email confirmation either. :upsidedow
I redeemed mine over Labor Day weekend. I was asked for an ID. We had two TMs helping us as one handled my ticket and another handled my DH's free military ticket so I didn't pay attention to how close they looked at everything. We did sign our cards in front of them. I asked if we needed to and they said yes.

I'm not concerned about having to sign them, since we plan on using it ourselves. Just want to make sure we won't have any issues.

You shouldn't have any problem redeeming the voucher even if the address doesn't match. As long as it is a picture ID, you will be fine.

I"m using my superbowl ticket next week. Can I redeem it at the regular ticket counter or do I need to go to Guest Services?

I'm so excited to go to Universal. :yay:

You can go to any window that says Voucher on it.

I won the voucher but misplaced it. Can I show my ID on the window and still get my voucher?

I believe so. There are many that got the winning email and no voucher that have been told to go to the Guest Services office with their id for their free ticket. Someone correct me if I am wrong (but I am sure I am right on this one :thumbsup2)

Yes, just go to Guest services with picture ID.

I think I lost my voucher... I hope I get the ticket! I know I got it... but mine is lost. :( DS still needs a ticket so I will go ahead and buy him one and hope that all is well for my voucher!
