Super Walmart

How great is the super Walmart in Orlando? Is it tourist prices or regular prices? Do they have almost everything you could need and more?

Never been before but will be going this year.

From what I could tell last June, the prices are comparable to the normal prices at the Wal-mart's here in Texas. The Wal-mart is pretty much the same as any other super. This store does have disney/Florida souv. There is also a travel agency inside the store that sells diff types of tickets for the parks. Beware, this store is always crowded. I went at 11:00 P.M., and the store was packed like it was noon.

* From the airport take the Greeneway (417) to exit 13. Go south to Osceola Parkway. Turn right on Osceola Parkway. Wal-Mart is on the left. If going to WDW directly after Wal-Mart, you can take Osceola Parkway west all the way to WDW property

Since I frequent Universal I go to the Super WalMart on John Young Parkway. Much less congested and nicer than the one on I 192. It's on Sand Lake and John Young and better yet, it has a Dollar Tree next door! Great place to get 2 for a dollar rain ponchos!

If you are driving from the Hilton there are two you can go to. The one most tourist use is the Wal-Mart on 192. There is another one on Osceola Pkwy that is more used by the locals.

To get to the one on 192, you would take Hotel Blvd to 535 (thats towards the Crossroads). Turn right on 535 and take that all the way down to 192. Turn left on 192 and follow it til you come to the Wal-Mart (it is on the right side). It is about 4 to 5 miles.

The one on Osceola Parkway, you would take 535 to the Osceola Parkway entrance (it is just a little before 192). The Osceola Parkway is a toll road and it will cost you $1.25 to get there. It is on the left, I would say about 8 miles.

The Osceola Pkwy one is less crowded that the 192 but both have comparable prices.

Like Robinrs, my parents and I also frequent the Super Walmart on Sandlake rd !! this one is very convient to our hotel which is on Universal BLVD!!

One Stop shopping is done here!!!!!
