Super Walmart ??

I haven't been to WDW for 2 years (went to Mecca (DL) on points last year) are there any good stores near the World. I remember going to I think it was a super Walmart. I'm not a fan of Goodings. I would also go to Winn Dixie (?) I remember you go out of WDW by DTD and make a left at the traffic light (if you went straight you'd go to Goodings) and its down the road on the right. Any suggestions??

I far prefer Publix over Winn Dixie (personal preference and all that ya' know). The closest Publix is just behind the Premium Outlet mall (a right at Crossroads to a left just under the I4 overpass). The selection there is much nicer in my opinion, and the prices can be better.

I avoid Goodings. Ick. I'm not a supporter of Walmart so avoid going there as well.

However, if you want a Superwalmart there is a new(ish) one on Turkey Lake Road.

The nearest Publix depends on where you start. For OKW and SSR it likely is the one by I drive near the outlets. For BWV, BCV, there are several that are closer, the one on 192 near Gaylord Plams is likely the closest overall. From AKV it's likely the Orange Lake location. The WalMart is on the corner of 535 & Poinciana right off Osceola Parkway.

We liked the Walmart. It had good produce, large beer and wine selection and really good cinnamon bread for toasting. We went through several loaves last time we were home.

Also, if you need to shop of souvieners they carry a large selection of Disney items. No park theme items though.

We also prefer the Publix over both Gooding's and Winn-Dixie (ick!). We also avoid Wal Mart, but I know where the Super Target is. It's pretty close near the intersection of 535 and 192.

There is a Pulix right off of John Young Pkwy. Take a right onto JYP and go about 1/2 mile east. It is in a strip Mall on your right hand side of the road.
