Super Walmart or Publix

Does anyone have any info about the Super Walmart or Publix near Solana? Prices, cleanliness? TIA!!

There's a Publix just north of Solana on 27 near Highlands Reserve. It's called Berry Town Center on the following map. There's also a SuperWalmart north on 27 just past the intersection for 192 and behind Burger King. Publix is less than 5 min. and the Walmart less than 10 min.

Go to the bottom right corner and scroll down to Solana and it will zoom in then use the arrows on the left bottom to move up a little to see Walmart.
Both of these are fairly new. We use the Walmart when we're there and it's fine.

They are both nice. The Super WalMart is newer but both are in great shape. I find Publix and SuperWalMart have about the same prices on many items. If I need a lot of items I go to Super Wal Mart, if I just need groceries I go to Publix. I do like the bakery better at Publix.

Pick Publix EVERY TIME over Wal*Mart. Night and day difference.

DO not I repeat do not walk past their bakery at the Publix.

It is a crime not to purchase one of their specialty cakes.

I do not purchase dessert when out to dinner we always go back to the villa and have a peice of their cake instead. They are the best and are a great price.

Just my 2 cents worth. Never paid more then $22.00 for a cake and we usually have at least 10 adults with us.

Chose Publix for quality or chose Super Walmart for savings.
Publix is one of the pricier grocery stores, but well worth it.

We shopped at both. Wal Mart's food section was always super crowded and the aisles weren't very wide. We had to take the four kids with us, so it was a pain but it wouldn't be a huge issue if you don't have a bunch a kids.

I agree that Publix has a great bakery.

We always shop Publix when we're at Disney. We have a brand new Super WalMart here at home but I feel like it's a treat to shop at the Publix-it makes us feel like we're really on vacation(even from our regular grocery store).
