Super Soap Weekend Problem

oK EVERYONE KNOWS HOW EVERY RESORT IS SOLD OUT FOR SUPER SOAP WEEKEND BUT IWAS LUCKY TO SNAG THE ANIMAL KINGDOM LODGE ABOUT 4 OR 5 WEEKS AGO. THE BAD SIDE IS ITS ONLY A STANDARD VIEW. I GOT THIS CODE UNDER MY DISNEY CLUB DISCOUNT ZWKE I BELIEVE WHICH IS SIMILIAR TO CKO. ANYWAY MY QUESTION IS SINCE I HAVE A RESERVED ROOM UNDER THIS CODE, IF A BETTER ROOM BECOMES AVAILABLE SAY A SAVANNA VIEW, COULD I UPGRADE ROOMS STILL UNDER THE CODE THAT I ALREADY BOOKED FOR, EVEN IF IT HAS EXPIRED? THE SECOND QUESTION IS, UNDER THIS CODE IF A DIFFERENT RESORT BECOMES AVAILABLE WHICH I LIKE BETTER WOULD I BE ABLE TO SWITCH THE RESORT AND STILL USE THE CODE I USED FOR ANIMAL KINGDOM IF IT WAS AVAILABLE UNDER THE CODE WHEN IT WAS OUT? I HOPE I MADE MYSELF CLEAR, IF NOT IM SORRY- HEHEHE

I WOULD APPRECIATE ANYONES HELP WHO HAS GONE THROUGH THIS

I think that once the codes are expired you can not use them even if you had a res. with one before. Check on expedia and travelocity also because they have the code rates but you do not need a code and they sometimes have availability when Disney does not. Good Luck. We will be there during that weekend staying at the B.C. and thanks to the codes we will be in a waterview concierge room. Can't wait.

I think confal1 is correct in once they expire, you can't use them but I would call today since it is the last day. I'm going that same weekend and had trouble getting ressies, But keep calling both CRO and Disney Club everyday to see if something else was available. I've changed my ressies three times and finally am very happy with what I've got. I was never able to get anything but a standard view room, but I'll take it. I tried Expedia and it does show the room available but when I tried to book, I always got a "can't make this reservation now".

If rooms were sold out under that code already, they will not become available later. When someone who has that code cancels, the room goes back into the system at full price, not the discounted rate. That is why you sometimes see new codes come out at the last minute. If they have a glut of rooms unfilled at full price, they might offer them at a discount. With all that is going on that weekend, I doubt there will be any new codes being offered. They will have the rooms filled enough (if not sold out) to not have to offer discounts. Be happy you were lucky enough to get the discount originally. When you check in, you can always ask if they have any upgrades available. Maybe you'll be lucky enough to get savannah view for the same price!
