Hello! I'm seriously craft-impaired and was wondering if you could send me the PDF you mentioned with detailed instructions?

My email address is teriklem@live then add .com at the end. Disboards won't let me send you my email address because I'm new on here. :(

Thanks!!

Just found this on pinterest... can't wait to try it this weekend! Thanks for posting.:)

I've made more of these over the years. My mom and I wore maroon ones with bleach pen designs to WDW.

I wrote out "When You Wish Upon A Star" in bleach on a black shirt for an October Disneyland trip.

Then for gay days at Disneyland we made red shirts (the "official" color of GD) used a bleach pen to design and then traced over the line with glow-in-the-dark fabric paint.

So cute, Stephantor! I hadn't thought of writing a phrase on a shirt. Great idea!

Just went on a 3-day trip with some old, old friends and I made them wear these shirts. We had a blast!

I just got a request for the pdf - sadly it is no longer available. It was stored on my work computer, and the company was sold in 2014. I searched my home documents and can't find it.

I did want to mention a very similar project for dark or otherwise un-bleachable shirts (like purple and orange): Instead of drawing your spirals with bleach pens, use white Elmer's glue instead and let dry completely- usually overnight. (Any white school glue will work). Get a small 4-oz bottle of white or contrasting color water-borne paint (can find in WalMart for less than $1) and an old toothbrush. Pour about an inch of paint into a small cup and add a teaspoon or so of water and mix well. Take the project outside at this point! Dip the toothbrush into the paint and, using your thumb, fleck the paint all of the shirt, right on top of the glue. Let dry again.

Throw the shirts into the washer and the glue will wash right out, leaving a shirt-colored spiral behind.
