Are you calling in sick tomorrow?
And that's ET. For the rest of the country, it was even earlier.Wasn't it all over by like 10:30? Why would you have to call in sick?

That seems late to me.Wasn't it all over by like 10:30? Why would you have to call in sick?
The after parties. Taking shots during the game. Hangovers. We didn’t get home until 1 am.
Many moons ago, I called in "sick" after a night of drinking. My boss was even buying me shots. I got suspended.

IMO, part of being a responsible adult is knowing how to control yourself and plan on fulfilling your obligations accordingly.

At my employer, with a few exceptions, if someone calls in sick, someone else needs to fill the role.I always take the day after the super bowl off. I’m also allowed 5 call outs a year at my job. With no issues. So IMO if you’re allowed to call out and you’re not screwing over a coworker then go ahead.
No, but the district I teach in has a two hour delay. I’ll take it!

My kids had a 2 hour delay too. For "ice" - I do sort of wonder if the admins figured it was a convenient excuse.![]()
