Super Shuttle or Disneyland Express

Hi,

We are a party of 4 traveling together. 2 adults an 2 16 yo boys. If I make the reservations separate for each to get the discount will be all in the same van? I don't want us getting separated.

Thanks for your help,

Bug

Yes, as mechurchlady said, you'll all be in the same van. They don't exactly reserve a specific van for you, but when you arrive they check you in and put you in the next available van for your party.

If you take a taxi, your cost will be roughly $45 each way plus tip. It actually cost us about $48 (it was more going back to the airport), but I've heard you can call ahead for a flat rate of $45. I don't know that for sure. But since 4 people on SS with the coupon code will only run $28, I'd go with SS! Why spend an extra $35-$40 if you don't have to?

Yep, we've used Prime Time and generally they've been ok. We used Supershuttle last time out and I can't say I'd prefer one over the other. If you can get a deal on PT go for it. Or the DL Express bus.

Northwest Territories - now that's a long way to get to DL.

jlmarr,

Thanks for the reply. I booked Primetime Shuttle the other day. Yeah, it's not easy to get there from the north. First time for my wife and 4 kids. I was there a kid with my family in the late 70's. We flew down from Yellowknife for that trip.

We're flying from Calgary, after a 14 hour drive, next Monday.

Yes its totally fine. Like someone else said they are not going to hold a particular van for you. Just call up the reservation office after you booked all your vouchers and say... OK I need to make sure that a van is held for me and 5 other people (or how ever many is in your party). State that your all on the same flight and you all have vouchers. They will then have you and your entire party signed up for a shuttle.

While we were waiting for the bus, a cab came by that had just dropped people off at Fairfield and offered us a ride to the airport for the same price as the bus.:)

You mean the same price total as how many of you there were? Because I got an offer for a $75 ride by taxi back to LAX and I was happy about that (didn't take it though...DE) at around $20 was much more economical. :)

I've used both, I'm happy with both, unhappy with both. But I've only caught DE back from DLH, which is the hotel they leave for the airport from...I wasn't staying at ANY hotel, and had parked my bags in the paid lockers (asked if they could keep them for the day with bell services but that was a big negatory, LOL), grabbed then on my way out and caught the bus.

The bus, Disneyland Express, is a bus without seatbelts. Therefore carseats cannot be used.

The shuttles, Supershuttle, etc, are small shuttle vans with seatbelts, and you are supposed to be within CA law for carseats.
