OMG, you have no idea how much I would pay per drink if they could get Ted Lange (character -Isaac Washington) to mix up some lovely concoctions at Ale and Compass Lounge on any given night. Then you get someone to do their best baritone, jack jones style, to belt out the theme song. And maybe Ted Grandy (Gopher) could drop by to talk about happenings at Yacht Club.

Our other traditional vacation outside Disney is Wildwood/Cape May NJ. I feel like:

Boardwalk is Wildwood - People who actually want to go into the ocean. That is the main goal.

Beach Club is Cape May - people who want the more historical fancy oceanside style vacation

Yacht Club is Cape May Harbor - people who want 7yo ‘Preston Howell III’ to start taking their sailing lessons this summer, because nautical knowledge is the best preparation for navigating life

But they’d have to sell those points all over again. That takes time. It’s fun to think about this stuff but it’s so true the decision makers on this issue aren’t even applying to the college program yet lol. Will be interesting to see what happens. If they hold the line on never extending a property again, they will lose a breathtaking amount of customers all at once.

No they don’t. They can add them to the trust as is, and set up exchanges via BVTC, and collect fees from current owners as part of a RTU plan to use their inventory.

They don’t even need to sell under a new RTU plan right away. That is how the trust can help them as they transition because with this model they never sell the property.

For example, they keep BRV and BWV to start and take BCV off line to renovate. Now, when that is done, they sell it and take one of the others offline, etc.
