I was wondering if anyone noticed the big jump in fares from SNA for Super Shuttle. I'm hoping I'm not looking at the right site, but it has the blue van. I used it in Jan. and a round trip was $20 w/o a coupon. They're now charging $24 ONE WAY!!! Has anyone else seen this or tried to book recently and had a different price quote?

The DL Express is still $25, so I found that a little odd. Gas is a little more, but not that much more.

Hmmm. I just went to the website to check it out. I haven't yet made my reservations for next month. The website is definitely different. I've always used the $3 off each way coupon and paid my tip online. I didn't see a place to put in a coupon code, or pay the tip online, or choose the time you want to be picked up. In the past I've been given 3 choices (windows) to choose from. I saw that it was $20 total + $4.00 in fees/taxes or whatever bringing the total to $24. I took it to mean that it was $24 per person round trip. But I'm not sure. It would cost me $14 round trip + tax before with the discount (per person). Either way, I will now be looking into other options.

Thanks! :goodvibes I just figured out the problem. My hotel wasn't listed so I put in the zip code. But when I put in the hotel next door that is listed it still comes up at the $10 price.

I recently booked with super shuttle and it was $30 for 3 of us to shuttle from SNA to FFI but I was able to use$2 off pp, so it was $24 for the 3 of us ONE WAY, we have a crazy flight schedule we are not returning to SNA but LAX so I had to buy separate shuttle tickets and that shuttle was $14 pp ONE WAY. I dont know what round trip tickets are but one way is $8 from SNA.

OK, I went back and tried again and got the website I'm used to dealing with. I now see that you can still get a rate of $7 per person each way (before tip) using the code UYR59. That's good.

Where do you get the coupon?

http://www.supershuttle.com/

There is a spot to enter the code online. The code UYR59 will give you a discount of $3 each way. If you book each person in your party separately, each person will get the discount.

Aaahhh...I should have thought of that. I just recently told someone to put the hotel name in instead of the zip code. For some reason you get a higher quote for at least some hotels if you go the zip code route. Glad you figured it out!
