Super early easter april 19, 2014 fantasy cruise!

My family of 4 will be on this cruise! This is our first Disney cruise & we are so excited! My family includes Jennifer, Aaron, Malachi (10), & Molly (6). We have been to WDW several times & we just returned this week from our first trip to Disneyland. We celebrated our 16th anniversary at Disneyland, & my hubby surprised me with the cruise at our anniversary dinner at Napa Rose! We are so excited to experience the cruise next! Any tips/advice would be appreciated. Thank you!

This is my first cruise also so can't offer advice except read the boards. We also have an FE (Fish Exchange) being organized by Twokats and I'll be organizing a private mixology class when we get closer. Okay, I am starting to sound like a salesperson...lol

This will be my first cruise so I am not extremely knowledgeable. We do have a group started here that TwoKats is running if you chose to participate. I am sure someone sill be able to explain better than I can but basically it is gift giving to the cabin/people in your group. Some do cabin gifts, some individual and some do both. Can be homemade or store bought. Lots more info by cruising the threads.

This is a post I had from a previous cruise which gives all the info I have collected on the FE exchange. Hope this helps the newbies to the FE!

It is totally up to you how the gifts are done. Some do a stateroom gift, others do something for the kids in the room along with something special for the adults - the only limit is your budget. Please don't worry if it is not much. I have received many different things from bookmarks, magnets, themed cups and coseys (those things that can go around a canned drink) and little bags of various candies. I have also received things that people have done that were state specific and also country (some past cruises have included new friends from Canada).

I have found a lot of threads on the DIS that give great ideas for the FE and gifts plus magnets.
These are the ones I follow and believe me there is a lot of great pictures and information. Be prepared to spend a lot of time on these.

These are two individual posts that give the basic concept behind the FE and the directions for the no-sew FE. I have made 4 and pretty much followed the directions with a few modification to suit me. Any questions please let me know and I will try to help. I am in the process of making another for my September trip. My first one had four pockets my second one only had two pockets and the third one had 4 pockets and the fourth one had 2 pockets. The one for my September trip will have three pockets.

When you get up to 10 posts so that you can pm, send me the names of everyone in the room and the ages of the children. When you have a stateroom number let me know that and if y'all are celebrating anything special on this trip I can also note that.
