Super-busy Tuesday DL EE reports

We are going Aug 25-31 with 5-day hoppers. I had planned to use our MM on Tuesday the 26th because I read it was best to use it early in the trip while you still have the energy/time zone advantage, and also because our other planned full days are Wednesday and Friday when MM is not available.

With the recent reports of super busy Tuesday morning EEs, I am thinking about shifting all our plans/ADRs/etc so we can start at DCA on Tuesday and wait until Thursday to use our MM (going to Legoland on Wednesday instead).

Would that be worth the hassle? Or am I reading too much into these reports and should just stick with Tuesday MM? My kids are 5 and 7, if that makes a difference.

The times we have been there through the week, on Tuesdays we have experienced less people compared to Thursdays.

We felt Thursdays were busier due to people making it a four day weekend at the parks.

When I plan a trip I try to book Sunday through Thursday. Sunday gives us the shows that only play on the weekends.
