We are planning on hitting MK on March 14th and were planning on doing EMM again (had an amazing time with it last time). It is currently not showing on the calendar, and I am assuming they are considering that time as Spring Break. Has anyone seen them add days later after they already have their calendar in place?

Are you referring to Fantasyland EMM?? They just finally added Jan/Feb. so it might just be another month till they add more.

Did you look at the MK hours in the day view? Some dates have an unspecified "ticketed event" showing for the morning even though EMM haven't yet been announced. But you can only see it if you're looking just at the MK, just for that date.

ETA: It does look like that week is an exception to the Tues & Sun schedule that is currently in place for most of the month.

That WAS the case. Dates were added for all of Jan through all of March.

Just frustrated because EMM made MK a one day park for us, so that is what we planned on. We'll be fine with rope drop and well timed FP, but EMM was really amazing and we would love to do it again.

Unfortunately, the second week in March is usually one of the busier spring break weeks, and some years, MK has opened at 8:00am all week. That's likely why that week is excluded.

That's spring break week for most of Texas and many other southern states who don't tie in to Easter, so it seems unlikely they will add it.

I was hoping most of the Spring Breaks would be later. Oh well, we will still be at Disney so I shouldn't complain.

So you’ve done it? Question we’re the times on rides that early in the am accurate. The other day it was EMM & mine train had a 30 min wait at like 8am ... was that just a fluke? I’ve read reviews and people saying they rode 5 times so no way it could’ve that long?! About how many ppl are sold tickets do you think?

I'm nervous about this now -- I've never been at MK after an EMM event, and 3/6 is the day I have schedule for MK (outside of a return for DAH event). Will this effect crowds in other lands significantly at rope drop? I was planning on going through Adventureland (doing JC and Pirates) and then making my way to BTMRR and Splash.

No impact at all. It’s in the 200-300 people range, so very, very small numbers.

It’s a very small number. That 30 minute thing was just a MDE fluke. We’ve done several now... our last one (Labor Day weekend) we did 5-6 rides and could have done many more if we had really put our minds to it. You do have to get off, exit, then back in the FP entrance (you cut through, don’t have to walk all the way back out). Typical wait times were 1-3 trains to load/fill/leave.

And scary enough this is our week, but not so sad :) we are going to brave it and head to the parks a few days but enjoy Bonnet Creek mostly.

Thats great! I figured it was a fluke!
