Super Bowl Weekend!

My wife an I are going on our first Disney Cruise this weekend so we will be on the Dream for the Super Bowl. Any one have any ideas what, if anything they will be doing for the game? I called DCL and they said they plan to show the game and was given the warning of being on international waters and all that, but I'm wondering if there will be any fun on deck with the game. Really just hoping for a great game and some chicken wings haha.

We were on the Wonder last year and they showed it on the Funnel-vision and in the bars. There were snacks throughout the ship. But they show the game only; no commericals which is half the fun for me. No commericals plus the blow-out game last year, and exploring the ship resulted in us watching maybe 15 minutes total of the game.

Saw the Steelers/Cardinals Superbowl on the Magic in 2009. My wife and I watched the game by ourselves in the Cove Cafe. They usually only leave a news channel on but they were nice enough to put the game on for us.

The fun should be watching the Seahawks go back to back to back and take down Tom Brady. You can always get some wings from room service or they have the appetizer buffet in the bar area which seems to have plenty of spicy things. Hopefully you just get a great view of the Seahawks win!!!! I hope!

In 2011 when on the Disney Wonder I didn't recall anything special going on for the Super Bowl aside from showing it on Funnel Vision and in the bars/cove cafe.

I dont think International Waters is an issue cause ESPN Desportes has it

Saw the 2011 Super Bowl on the Magic. The bad part about the international ESPN is you don't get the commercial. You get lots of soccer commercials instead.
