super bowl weekend crowds

just curious if anyone was at MK last year during Super Bowl weekend? I heard it was dead on Super Bowl Sunday. We live in Tampa, FL and plan on going there on Saturday & Sunday

Since the Super Bowl is only 2 hours away in Jacksonville, it could be busy, or it could be dead. It will be difficult to compare the 2 years, since last year's Super Bowl wasn't so close to DW. We purposely scheduled our arrival date to be the Monday after Super Bowl, instead of Super Bowl Sunday, just in case it got crowded.

Well since the Superbowl is more of a corporate event I would say the wives and kids would want to be somewhere. I know those dates are blacked out from the discount code. But I still highly doubt it to be packed. But I think the crowds to be a little more than a typical weekend in Feb.

When is the Super Bowl? We're going to be in WDW Feb 4-9. Didn't even think to check Super Bowl dates. DH may change his mind if it interferes with him watching the game.

Super Bowl is Sunday, Feb 6th. We will be there too . Hope it won't be too crowded. We have MK scheduled for that day.

We were there last year for Super Bowl Weekend. Epcot was empty but the other parks are crowded. Just a note that for a period of six weekends in the winter there are dance competitions, so the parks are crowded with many dancers. Also, this year Mardi Gras is during the week following the Super Bowl and from several threads running it appears that many Louisiana schools are closed so they are heading to WDW.

It is crowded but nothing like a summer day.
