Super Bowl Crowds

Just back from a week at the Poly. We go the same week every year and the last week of Jan into the first week of Feb the parks are fairly empty. My son and I went to the MK for early entry on Fri and almost had the park to ourselves but as we left the park after 2 hours we noticed huge crowds at the bag check lines which suprised us. On the boat back to the Poly we were talking to a lady from NY who was with a group from ESPN and she told us that they had a huge number of rooms at the GF where they were staying for the Super Bowl as there are no rooms in Jacksonville. When we went back to the MK around 1pm the crowds were unbelievable 40 min to 1 hour waits for Pooh and 30 min for Buzz. We left Sat morning and the bellman at the Poly told us that they are expecting heavy crowds thru Tuesday or Wed.
