Super Bowl at WDW

Is anyone else staying at WDW during the Super Bowl? We arrive at BLT that day..... I did not realize the date when I booked it.


Anyone else thinking of trying the BLT lounge for the Super Bowl? Will it be mobbed?

If I was there I'd be at ESPN... would it be mobbed? Heck, yeah! That's half the fun!

Also, the ESPN Club puts up big screen TV's outside for the overflow crowd.

We were at Top of the World last year during the Super Bowl and it wasnt crowded at all! We were there for Wishes, but it was nice to be able to watch the game before and after

I think most resorts with lounges will have some sort of Super Bowl fun. Years ago we were staying at Dixie Landings (yes, THAT long ago!) during Super Bowl and they had a party in their lounge off the lobby.

If you want to have the full crowd/fan experience go to ESPN on the Boardwalk. That place will be hoppin'.

for all of our sports watching at wdw - this year we watched the first round of playoffs from the lounge at the poly - it was fun - two years ago we tried to watch the world cup from espn but couldn't get in - football is a little different - but it does get crowded outside and you may not get seats (we only got outside seats for the 1st wc, not the 2nd that week) it was ok watching from outside - the dixie landings was the best time because you can bring food in from the food court (yes i was also there at that time) - just make sure you get there in enough time to get seats - good luck

We have been there on big football nights and not had big crowds except around wishes. Do realize however that the game will be turned off during wishes- they use the sound system to play the soundtrack for wishes so nothing else can be on the tv during wishes.

Watched from the lounge at the wilderness lodge in 08 hope for the same outcome

Since admission there is limited to DVC members staying at BLT on points, it won't be too bad.
