Who Dat! Saints all the way baby!!!
. Plus, Drew Brees was a Boilermaker!
Colts! Of courseDowntown Indy will be crazzzzzy that night. Cannot wait to experience it...again!
Gotta, say that I will upset if we don't win but I like the SaintsThey have worked hard, I think, and I enjoyed watching their first game back at the Superdome after Katrina. Plus, Drew Brees was a Boilermaker!

They are just too quick, too smart, too talented for the Saints to be able to beat them. The Saints were not very impressive in the NFC Championship game. Reggie Bush is so inconsistent, and even Brees seemed scared and confused, and his passes, especially toward the end were weak and wobbly.
It took 5 Vikes turnovers for the Saints to win in OT last night. The Colts don't turn it over 5 times a month
Thanks for the explanation.I was raised in South Louisiana, so I am hoping for a Saints win. After all, it has been a long time coming. As others have stated though, Peyton Manning is a hometown boy. If the Colts were playing any other team, I'd be pulling for them.
As to the origins of the Who Dat cheer.... It comes from old jazz musicians and their audience who would chant "Who Dat?" back and forth to each other. Some say it goes back even farther though -- back to vaudeville and minstrel shows. Back as far as the 60's or 70's, it became a cheer at several predominantly African-American universities and high schools. There are many that claim to the the FIRST to use it, so I really don't know which one was first. It started to gain popularity though when Dalton Hilliard went to LSU and many of his fans from high school started cheering it. It couldn't pass Geaux Tigers though and so it didn't become that well known. After Hilliard was drafted and started playing for the Saints though, is when the cheer soared. Finally, the Saints, after many long years, began winning games, and Aaron Neville, another local boy, recorded a new version of "When the Saints Go Marching In." It was a huge hit on local radio stations and during the song there were some, then, Saints players doing the Who Dat cheer.
Anyway, that's the way I always heard the story told.
Payton Manning and the Colts will pick apart the poor defense of the Saints. The Saints are one of the worst run defense teams in the league. Addai (sp?) will run all over them. It will be a very one sides game.
They didn't, Farve only had 7 INTS all year. My point was, despite the Vikes playing poorly the Saints needed OT to win. If Minnesota hadn't had all the turnovers, the Saints would have likely lost....and the Colts won't have 5 turnovers in the SB.
