Super Bowl 2025

Did anyone watch the cavalcade today? If so, what time was it at? How early did people line up and was it crowded?

Looks like the next two super bowls will be in California. 2028 will be in Atlanta so back to WDW.

I think it started at 2:30. We were coming into MK today at 2:50 ish and the cavalcade was just coming around the bend by the train station at the front of the park. Pretty cool to see, but it was a nightmare trying to get into the park after it went by. Wall to wall people hardly moving. It was like trying to move after Happily Ever After in front of the castle! Lol.

I see some others already commented here but I wanted to add my notes in the hopes that it might help others in the future.

A few days before the Superbowl, some Disney blogs speculated that the parade would be in the afternoon, either before, after, or with the 3 pm Festival of Fantasy parade.

The time for the parade was announced just after Super Bowl ended. It was announced for a parade at 2:30 pm. For reference, on this day, there were Festival of Fantasy parades at 12 and 3 pm.

By 1:30 pm, the hub was jam packed. People were lining up down main street. I am willing to bet they were lined up and crowded much earlier than that, but we were in Tomorrowland until that time. I am not sure if the parade started in Frontierland or the Hub. There were lots of cameras set up with staging / interview areas around the Hub so that would be my guess but I can’t be sure on that.

It was warm and sunny and we ducked into the alley near Crystal Arts. We knew we would never get a front row spot at this point and just hoped Jalen Hurts was on a taller float so we could see (he was!). He passed us at 2:50 pm.

My friend got a spot near the flagpole closer to the train station and that was an amazing spot, but out in full sun. I saw many on the train platform and that looked like a great spot too. After the parade, it was a mass exodus as it seemed like 95% of fans left the park at that time. I bet ride waits were low after that!

It was very crowded but people were friendly, cheerful, and not rude. My friends have been to Disney many times included Christmas and New Years. They said these parade crowds rivaled those holidays!

We are not specifically Eagles fans, but we are huge NFL fans, so it was worth it to us to have the chance to see this parade. It was a really fun atmosphere and lots of people were chanting and cheering.

Hope this helps some football fans in the future!

Sounds very similar to what happens at the other park.

Glad you got the chance to see it. Where did you end up watching the game?

We were lucky enough to be staying in a villa at GF. We watched from our room and got some mobile order food from Gasparilla's. I bet the game was also on at the pool bar too as I noticed they had a TV and were actually replaying the game on Monday afternoon.

Phew, what a trip. I'm finally able to sit back down and catch up on this thread. I'll chime in as I was also in MK that day.

They were. I just checked my notes and pics. I entered the park at 11:40 am and many were parked along Main St for the 12:00 pm FoF Parade. Possibly hoping he would make an appearance for that parade?

I am not sure if the parade started in Frontierland or the Hub.
It started in Frontierland, and followed the traditional MK parade route through Liberty Square, over the bridge, and around the hub, before moving down to Main St.

It was very crowded but people were friendly, cheerful, and not rude. My friends have been to Disney many times included Christmas and New Years. They said these parade crowds rivaled those holidays!
I agree. Everyone seemed to be in a great mood! Happy their (our) team won, and happy to be there. Lots of random "Go Birds" shouting and E-A-G-L-E-S chants.

I walked around a bit after tapping in, and then went left to Adventureland and Frontierland. Stayed on that side until 2 pm, then made my way to the Hub. I stood pretty far back for the parade. People had staked out spots and I didn't want to be packed in a crowd. Parade started at 2:30, and he was in the Hub by 2:45. They stopped over on the Tomorrowland side, and shot off confetti and fireworks. Someone gave him a microphone and he spoke and said thank you to the fans for coming out. They shot off more confetti, and the parade started again making its way out of the hub and around Main St. Was really cool!

It's awesome that Disney does this every (most?) years either east coast or west coast. Fun for the game, fun for the MVP player and family, and fun for the team and football fans. Whatever cast member came up with that "I'm going to Disney World" idea years ago, I'm sure they've been rewarded quite nicely for it, because that one has worked for a long time!!!

I will also add that they left the tape and rope in place in Frontierland after the 12:00 FoF parade, and people were staking out spots. It wasn't overly packed between 1:15 - 1:30 as I was walking from Tiana's to HM, but most spots right on the front row viewing line were taken. Some spots were in the blazing hot sun. No thanks, lol!

If I am ever there again, the best spot would be in the hub on the Tomorrowland side. They had tons of news cameras lined up, and that is where he stopped and gave a short speech. I walked by there after as I was headed to SDMT. Media were interviewing fans, and the ground was covered in confetti.
