Add 7 more to the SuperBowl 4-Day Wonder! My DW, DD4 and my best friends and their kids are all making the trip, our first. Looking forward to watching my Dolphins on board that day! How ironic. I live in Southern California, about an hour from San Diego where the Superbowl will be held, and I will be flying to Florida, somewhat near Miami, boarding a boat that will HOPEFULLY be showing my beloved Miami Dolphins playing in the SuperBowl... back here in San Diego.

By the way, my friend and I are planning to play golf in either Nassau or Freeport on the trip. Anyone interested in filling out the foursome?

I also booked this "superbowl" cruise on my last cruise for a discount. We will be catagory 6 for about 1700 smackers....
Yes this will be one party cruise !!!!!!!!! They were advertizing this cruise from $399 a person. My $1700 is for 2 adults and 2 children and is bottom line after uncle samual gets his....
I hope the weather is good as I need to go swimming in January.
We also booked our in laws in an adjourning cabin for $1350 bottom line. Could not pass up this deal.. Anyone else interested I believe there are still openings but I'm not sure you can get this huge discount ....This cruise will stop in freeport also.

That is what we got it for $399 plus port fees. Not a bad deal considering it's Disney! If we get an upgrade it would be so awesome. But I am not holding onto anything there. But it is possible we were already moved once to add on a person to our room. Hopefully there are more DU people so we get our gift.

Melissa, glad to know that I am not the only one who doesn't follow football. Hubby knows what is happening, but has no desire to watch a football game, even superbowl. If everyone else on the ship is watching the superbowl, think of all the fun you and I and my DH can have

Sorry if this is taboo, but..........

Don't forget to wave at the Fantasy (Carnival ship) next door when you are waving goodby to the port. DH and I will be on that ship. Since this is our first cruise and DS is staying at my mom's, we went the cheap route to see if we like cruising. (I know, I'll be laughing at that statement when we get back) I realized the major mistake I made booking us during the superbowl a couple of weeks ago, but the Carnival board at another site said we would have a great time. DH said, as long as they have the game on and they serve beer, that's all he needs. LOL

Don't forget to look for the bubbles coming from the ship next door! Here's hoping everyone has a great time!

We cruised during superbowl 2000 and it was shown everywhere. My DS just informed me that it was broadcast in commongrounds and that they placed bets on the game.
