TIA
Donna

I'm going to bump this back up and see if someone can help you. I am going to be honest here though and tell you I'm not even sure what you are asking about. You may want to clarify alittle bit.

Sorry.
I didnt realize how it sounded. I am new to the boards. Will try to clarify.
Has any one stayed at the Super 8 that is considered Kissimee/orlando/lake ?
We were looking at ones in the area and with shuttles. This one has a micro and a fridge but not kitchenette. Was wondering if folks think we should spend more for that(kitchen) or is 40 dollars a good deal with a micro and fridge and shuttle service. Is this one place in okay shape?

I've stayed at a Super 8 on 192 (not sure which of the million that it was)!!! It was nice. The breafast was ok. Toast, bagels, fruit, coffes, juice, and teas. We've since been staying at The Magic Castle Inn & Suites. It is also on 192. The pool is a little small, but we don't spend much time swimming in March!! You can't beat the price and they have FREE shuttles to the parks. They're website is magicorlando.com. We've stayed there at least 4 times and will probably always stay there!!

We've done the offsite free hotel shuttle deal before. They can be great if you really, really don't want to drive to the parks. Just remember-- they usually only run a few times a day. Also, we found the shuttle didn't run in accordance to the park hours. There was quite a few days the last shuttle ran 2-3 hours before park closing times. It was crazy. We decided to use a car 1/2 way into that trip and haven't used the shuttles since then. The area is super easy to navigate and it's all really well marked. Just something to keep in mind.

Thanks,
Will check the hotel you menitoned.
Isnt parking 10dollars a day at the WDW. I guess we will have to see what the schedule is for which one we pick Thanks for the heads up though. Is a taxi cheaper?

I don't know that taxi would be cheaper- I've never used one. I didn't really take the parking fee into account. I just know we didn't like having to leave the parks at 5/6/7pm when they were open until 9/10pm to catch the last shuttle.

I too looked into this Super8, but I wasn't too sure as I couldn't find reviews on it..
Also it confused me, that some websites stated, that there was fridge and micro(which I really want) in all rooms and then on a different website it would say, that they're only in the Deluxe Rooms.
Does the Super8 really offer a shuttle? From what I've been reading, I thought, that they were connected to the public bus system and appearently there is a stop right by the Motel.

@OhioGrumpyGirl, thank you for the Link to the Magic Castle Motel...I will look into that.
Also, can you tell me how often their shuttle runs?

Thanks

Rienchen

I too found that, but it appeared that one had the Micro fridge.
I linked over to it from yahoo travel i think.

@OhioGrumpyGirl, thanks for the link...I have 'dumped' the idea of staying onsite...with Nanny Wages it's just impossible to afford over Easter.
So I have booked the Magic Castle in and look forward to it...
Staying there from April 10th until 16th

Ditto the thanks to OhioGrumpy,
I think that is what we are going to do also. Magic Castle is 5 bucks a night cheaper then Super 8.
Thanks again

I know what you mean about the Nanny Wages......that's why we started staying at the Magic Castle. My sis did daycare for a living and here in Ohio, it only pays $2.50/hr. SO if you don't take on a lot of kids, the pay really sux!!! Enjoy your trip!!!

Reinchen.....I'm not sure about the shuttles (we never used them--we like to leave the park for dinner, then go back for the evening). If you e-mail them, they could probably send you a schedule. HTH

OhioGrumpyGirl, is this hotel really clean? For $39 a night, I know it would be basic, but it looks a little down from the pics. We are going the same week, so cool if we were both there at the same time...lol
