Just a heads up
Sunwing have some excellent fares to Orlando and other Florida destinations in Aug-Sept and some Nov dates. Was just poking around with some Orlando fares at $49 each way plus $117 taxes. Not too bad.

Have you flown with Sunwing before? We are leaving on Sept 7 from Toronto, have never flown with them and are a bit nervous, but their flight was a direct 3 hr flight and saved us (family of 5) about $3000 off of the other airlines.

We flew with them last year, no problems at all, and got a great rate, but this year west jet was cheaper for us, otherwise it would have been sunwing again!

DH did this past Spring and thought they were excellent!!!
Called them a very early day Wardair which many of you will not remember..;)

Thanks so much guys, making me feel less nervous about the flight. Can't wait..:tinker:

We are travelling Sunwing to Orlando on Aug 24th. We flew with them to Cuba over Christmas and they were fine - delayed a little there and about 3 hours on the way back but on board they were fine. I just called them this morning and paid the extra to have our seats booked as their configuration is 3 and 3 and wanted to make sure that were were not seated all over the plane after getting to the airport at 3:30 am!

We flew with Sunwing this past January and they were great! We saved about $1300.00 over our last trip for three people. The service on board is great with a celebratory kick off to your vacation drink offered and a small meal. Even hot towels after to clean your hands. I would go with Sunwing again in a heartbeat. Enjoy!

Ahh Wardair those were the good old days! remember they used to serve the food on fancy plates (china i think)

they used to compete well with Canadian and kick the crap out of Air Canada in service too

Sure was, Royal Doulton - Repton pattern. Remember the cake trolley where you could select your Dessert? Imagine.
I worked for them;)
