The email that I just received from Sunwing advertises "from $29 Toronto departures to Orlando" doesn't mention sale for coming back although I found a few flights for $50.

I saw this post so I called yep 29 bucks there then with the taxes and return flight it was 738 bucks return for 2 people LOL. not quite what I would call a deal for sure.

Comparitively speaking...its not a bad deal.
But...its also a rip off in the sense that when you consider the taxes on a $29 flight to be 2 to 300..........and,if the fare was lets say $90 the taxes are 1 to 200.
When I asked the question to Travel Agents and Airline customer service "How do you change taxes and fees on different priced flights"....the explanation was a load of gobbledegook.

I agree what gives with the tax structure on air travel from Canada I mean I have no problem paying higher tax but atleast let us know what you are doing with your calculations I like to be kissed before I get bent over for crying out loud LOL.

I just looked also, couldn't find $29.00 for my dates, did find $69.00 each way which with taxes ends up being $273.00, not too bad for Canada.

Can do better still with Southwest, for our trip at the end of this month we paid $125.00 US / person return!

The taxes at Pearson are ridiculous!!! :sad2:
Even for a $29 flight it's worth the trip to Buffalo.

OT Pearson was supposed to be a major hub for this part of the world. But because of the high costs for airline companies they are choosing to stay with the American hub cities. But hey, they gotta pay for that new terminal somehow.:rotfl2:
