In their website it says 20" long for carry-on baggage allowance.
My carry-on bag (which I've used no problem with SWA,Delta,Air Canada,Westjet,Air Canada and Air Transat) is about 22" long when you factor in the handle and wheels.
Will I have a problem ?
Are they strict ?
Thanks

Hi yah Wee-haggis
I don't know the answer to this but a month or so ago I contacted Sunwing about release date of their flights and did get a response (email) back. Maybe you could try emailing them,,just a suggestion.
Take care
Hugs Mel

The stated size does include handle & wheels. Now, most the the time they don't ask you to put it in the SizeWise thing, last time they just eyeballed our carry-ons. However, they were pretty strict in Montreal on the "one" carry-on, and not a carry-on + personal item as usually permitted on Air Canada and such. If you have a very small purse it might be OK, but a small bag + 20" won't cut it.

The woman who checked us in a couple of years ago was um... unpleasant... and she got us for the carry-on sizes AND our luggage being overweight. The one carry-on was slightly over their posted size.

But the last time we flew Sunwing, we had a very nice woman check us in and she was a little hesitant about my carry-on, but ended up letting it on. So I think it really depends... hopefully you'll get one of the nicer ones!! ;)
