Sunwheel Refurb Has Been Delayed!!!

Until 13 October - just checked the calendar on the DL site.

I'm really happy about that - it's the only ride which I was sad about not being there - not for purposes of riding, but because it makes that great Paradise Pier Photo!

The ride FREAKS me out, but I love to see the SUN wheel.

I was truly bummed about this being down because I had never gotten to experience. When I went to DL like 15 years ago, naturally, CA wasn't even open. I'm SO thrilled I'll get to experience it while I'm there!!

Uh oh! Now I am in trouble! I am terrified of heights and the SunWheel but I broke down a few weeks ago and told my partner I would finally grant his wish and ride in one of the moving cars during our trip in October. Then I heard of the refurb and breathed a sigh of relief knowing I had a several month reprieve...

Now I read this! LOL! I am going to be soooooo scared it is not even funny. Someone please tell me this is a safe ride?!?! hehehehe!

When I went on Sun, I was happy to see his smiling face!
The only problem was, was that I forgot to get my digital camera and had to buy a disposable one. Hopefully I'll go back again soon!
