Sunterra Resorts Polynesian Isles

My grandparents belong to RCI & II, and are giving us a week in a timeshare as our wedding gift. We are looking for advice on witch resort to chose for our honeymoon. We are looking for a romantic resort that is very close to WDW.

We are thinking of staying at Sunterra Resorts Polynesian Isles. Has anybody stayed there? Any info or resort ideas would be great. Thanks for all of the great info and advice I have receved from this board!!!

We stayed at Sunterra Polynesian Isles 2 Januarys ago (Jan 2003)

We thought the resort was lovely. And if you are staying offsite, my personal opinion is that this location cannot be beat. If you exit the resort, and go right, you are at WDW within 10 minutes. If you exit the resort and go left, you are on a main drag with restaurants, stores, etc.

The grounds are lovely, and the units are 'typical' time share condo, but very nice. We were in a 2 bedroom, and it was my parents, DH and I, and DS and we did not feel cramped at all.

There was a washer/dryer shared between 2 units. One pool was closed, but the one that was open, was quite nice.

The resort was very pretty, nicely landscaped, and I think for a honeymoon, it would be lovely.

If you have specifics, fire away, and I will do my best to wrack this old brain!
