Sunshine Seasons

Does anyone know what is up with Sunshine Seasons at EPCOT, in the Land Building. We go there every trip. We went on Saturday to grab our quick service dinner and everything was shut down at 6:30 pm. The website says it should be open till 8 pm. I was so disappointed, it is my favorite counter service, the most bang for your buck, especially if you have a dining plan.

That is odd. Pretty sure Epcot was slammed over last weekend, what on earth could have prompted that closure? Maybe they ran out of food???

They stop serving hot food quite early. I have been there when they stopped by 4 PM, and just had the grab and go stuff.

The other big problem with Sunshine Seasons is its significantly shorter hours. This started pre-pandemic, even when the only alternative in the former Future World was Electric Umbrella, the predecessor to Connections Cafe & Eatery. That was particularly frustrating because there didn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason to the schedule–some or all stations would simply close.

Now it’s arguably better (or arguably worse) since all of the hot food stations close at 4 pm. The upside is that it’s predictable. Go for lunch, and Sunshine Seasons is fully operational. Arrive for dinner, unless you have super early bird supper status, and it’s just the grab and go stuff.

What's worse is that the selection of everything is much smaller than it used to be. The bakery section was disappointing as well. (December visit) I used to recommend SS, but I wouldn't right now.
