Sunshine Seasons Selection

I just saw a clip on the Sunshine Seasons on some travel show, and it made it appear to have quite a diverse and large selection of food. I saw dishes that weren't on the menu posted online. Are there generally a lot of options like this?

There were quite a few options when we were there last week. There is an Oriental option called Asian Noodle or something like that. We had that one. it had several different meat dishes to choose from. The combo was a meat dish and two sides. It was acceptable, but not much different than we get in our mall food courts. There was definitely plenty of food. There is a Grill counter that had the longest line. There was one for wraps and sandwiches. And I believe there was one for salads. The strawberry shortcake was really really good

We love Sunshine Seasons. It is like a food court, with different "restaurants" (for lack of a better word) that offer different foods. You stop at each one you want to get food from, get your drinks and then do one check out.

The only problem we ever run into there is finding a place to sit and eat. We unfortunately and stupidly eat right around lunch or dinner time and it is always packed. Even in January, a slower time of year, it was packed.

We've always been pleased with the large variety of foods at Sunshine Seasons. It's the one place everyone in the family can find something they love! I always hit the Asian counter, DH hits the sandwich/sub place & the kids get the chicken legs with mashed potatoes at another "station." It dies get very corwded at peak meal times.

I rank Sunshine Seasons among my three favorite counter service restaurants, along with Tangierine Cafe and Columbia Harbour House. I value Sunshine Seasons for exactly the reason you mentioned in the original post -- the wide variety of food.

I particularly like the sandwich station. The turkey foccaccia and the veggie sub are both wonderful lunch options. Cap the meal with a slice of the Butterfinger cheesecake from the bakery section, and you have a nearly perfect meal.

I admit I don't generally like the Asian booth there, but my brother and sister do.

Love, Love, Love to eat there!!! Of course I'm one of those nostalgic folks who loves the Living with the Land attraction also!!!

Never had the Strawberry Shortcake, and now that it's mentioned I will be grabbing one of those on our next trip!!

We love that attraction, also. We hope to have time to do the Behind the Seeds tour on our next trip. We did like our meal there. The Chinese was good. We got the spicy cashew chicken with noodles and stir-fried vegetables. It was plenty of food. But, we will definitely go back. I want to try something from the sandwich/wrap station also. They all looked really good.

Definitely get the Strawberry Shortcake. It's layers of whip cream, cake, strawberries and one of our favorite desserts.

Sunshine seasons is a great counter service place. Actually, it's probably one of my favorites. Their black bean salad is the best I've ever had!

Of course I'm one of those nostalgic folks who loves the Living with the Land attraction also!!!

Ok, I tear up when I go through that ride - so I'm a nostalgic sap too! My grandparents were depression-era farmers & we went to WDW with them in the late 70's & early 80's. I remember my grandfather being absolutely amazed at the technology used in that attraction. It gave him a great hope for the future of struggling farmers. So now when I go by the farm house scene & they are showing old b&w clips of farmers from the 1940's & 1950's it reminds me of him & I just start crying!

I think it is the best counter service location on property. They have a wide variety of selections so I think everyone can find something. This site has a good representation but the selections do change from time to time.

What kind of options are there for sandwiches? I don't like traditional sandwiches with american cheese, typical cold cuts, and bagged bread, but I love more exotic varieties like paninies and ones with higher quality ingredients like provolone cheese and dijon mustard.

We love it too...DH & I get the asian...and 3 of my 4 kids get the half of chicken with 2 sides...1 of them gets double mashed potatoes....and the strawberry cakeis to die for....we plan this into our schedule everytime we go...but we always get early for lunch...fresh food and somewhere to sit...lol

Sunshine Seasons is a must do for me - I love their chicken Caesar Salad and Asian Chocolate Cake - I've been know to have the cake as late breakfast

- Oak Grilled Vegetable Flatbread Sandwich.

Each come with a side (Mashed Potatoes, Salad with Apple-Balsamic Dressing, Rice Pilaf, Glazed Carrots). They also have Rotisserie Chicken, Grilled Salmon, Porkchops, Caesar Salad, Roasted Beets and Goat Cheese Salad, Spicy Cashew Chicken Stirfry, Sweet and Sour Chicken, and Ginger Mongolian Beef.

I love Sunshine Seasons! I like their salmon with olive tapenade and mashed potatoes. It's the perfect size entree and I get salmon for a good price!

I have eaten here when it is slow and busy but I've always been able to find a table. There are a lot of tables and they turn quickly.

I agree, love the Strawberry Shortcake as well as the Creme Brulee - we thought the Sunshine Season's creme brulee was much better the WPE!

I had the ham and salami sandwich and it was fabulous. DH had the veggie flatbread and loved it as well. I can also give a HUGE to the Roasted Beet Salad. It is soooo good. Very sweet roasted yellow and red beets with lots of fresh baby greens, candied nuts and little bits of creamy goat cheese.. Perfect light and filling lunch on a hot day.
