Sorry, but that dessert was the first thing that came to my mind! I had the chicken caesar salad that was good. My husband had a stir fry that was just okay. One daughter had the rotissere chicken and mashed potatos which she also liked. But the desserts....
Why did I know I would hear great things about the desserts?!? Seems like the Asian food is OK, but salads and sandwiches are good...I know dh and I would like it, but not so sure about the kids...
I had some sort of beef flatbread which was really good! I thought it would be difficult to eat, but the beef was really tender, and I liked the sauce they squirt on at the end. I also had something called "asian cake" which looked really cute but was rather dry and uninteresting inside.
My DM had the chinese food, which was rather reminiscent of Panda Express, and the strawberry shortcake which was pretty good.
On the whole, I think I thought it was one of the best CS meals we had on the dining plan that trip. But, as my DM would say, perhaps it was because it was at the beginning of the trip, when we were still hungry.
Another vote for the beef flatbread and the fruit tulip! Yum-O! This was one of the best counter service places we ate at last year. EVERYTHING looked wonderful! We also got some kind of sandwich and the strawberry shortcake. Both of those were good as well!
