I can never figure out what to order (except all those yummy desserts). I love the atmosphere, but thus far am not a real fan of the food. Help me out with some suggestions please.

I love Sunshine Seasons. I think it is the best CS in Disney. My recommendations would be the Chicken Chile and Garlic Noodle Bowl at the Asian counter or the Grilled Salmon at The Grill counter.

When I was a passholder no matter which park I was going to I would go to Epcot first and go to Sunshine Seasons for a quick bagel and fruit for breakfast.

I love the salmon and mashed potatoes. Yum. I top it all off with a Butterfinger cheesecake.

Great, now I'm starving and my lunch does not sound interesting at ALL. ;)

Sunshine Seasons is my fave CS restaurant at WDW!

What I usually do is walk by each of the stations, looking at what's available. Then I get into whichever line will get me to the meal I've decided upon. After that, it's just a matter of getting beverages at the station in the back, and possibly picking up a dessert, before going to the cashier.

Nothin' to it!

I'm sorry that I don't have specific food recommendations for you, but taht's only because it's all good. :)

Personally, the only thing I like at Sunshine Seasons is the soups and the caesar salad, desserts and the breakfast options. The Chinese food doesnt look appealing to me, Dh is not a sandwich guy and I can get rostisserie chicken anytime.

Whats the Chicken Chile?

Sounds really good!!!

My favorite is the chikcen and mashed potatoes kids meals! (who says they are just for kids!)

I also am not crazy about the menu, but I want to try the desserts. Anyone know if you can use a snack credit for the cakes/desserts instead of using a CS for a whole meal?

We were able to do this in July 2006 and July 2007. I'm hoping they'll let us do it this August. It was by far the best use of our snack credits (though the bakery in Norway was a good one too).

I'm not a fan either. I think it is very expensive and would rather do a sit down with the 20% DDE discount.

Is there anywhere that tells you exactly where and what you can use for your snack credits on the ddp? last time we were there we totally wasted our snack credits on cookies cause we couldn't figure out where all we could use them. A list would be great. Ive heard people talking about a bakery in Norway and desserts at some of the CS restaurants. Please help me figure out how to best utilize these credits. Thanks.

Yes, you can use a snack credit for dessert here.

The sandwiches are really good. You can't go wrong there.

I agree..the sandwiches are delicious! They are made fresh through out the day.

I got the salmon, which was really good, especially for a CS meal. DH had the chicken caesar salad, which he also enjoyed. For dessert, I got the creme brulee (I try it everywhere I can find it!) It tasted good, I think it was orange flavored which makes it unique. But since it was premade in the case, it didn't have the lovely crunch to the sugar topping that brulee fans love...ah well, it was still tasty. All of the desserts looked good. It does seem expensive for a CS meal, but no more so than Tangierine, or Cosmic Ray's, or several of the more popular CS places. For the DDP, it's a good deal for 1 CS credit.
