I have tried to sign up with a couple of the bigger offers lately that require a purchase. I did the Out-Games one today successfully, and now when I am trying to do the Bid4Less, it is saying that my card is being declined. I am using the same credit card, and I am no way near my maximum on the card. I thought maybe it was because both sites use the same service (Paycom), so I went ahead and cancelled my Out-Games (again successful), but still it doesn't work.

Any suggestions? I just don't want to get surprised and find all kinds of charges from the Bids4Free site since they now have my card number- if it is "declined", they don't keep trying, right???

I would phone your credit card company and have them check it out. The earlier you catch a problem the better.

They're both billed through the same company, so if you're doing them right after each other it may alert the fraud dept. from your CC company. Happened to me, since I had two charges within minutes from the same online company I got an automated call from my CC's fraud department to verify that the charges were legit.

Thanks, Carrie, I thought maybe it was that too, but I called my cc to check about it, and they couldn't even see that there was any attempt to charge for the one that was declined. It was on my Disney Visa, which we don't keep a balance on, so I don't know what the problem was. I am just checking it to make sure nothing unusual happens, and I am going to wait to sign up for another offer just to feel a little safer.

Thanks!

I've had a lot of offers where my Disney Visa card declined, too. Same situation - no where near my balance, and it declined too quickly to have even checked. So I used my debit card instead and hope it's okay.

My card declined on the bidding sign up too. I am no where near my limit and pay it off every month. I tried yesterday and today. Still will not accept my card....I used it at WalMart yesterday and it was fine. That particular sign up just must not like my Disney card or that fact that I did several of the sign ups within a couple of days. However, I am glad that I was not the only one. I was begining to think something was wrong with my card.

Ok, glad to hear I am not the only one having problems with that sign-up. I waited a few more days, and tried it again with my Disney Visa, and it still won't take it.
