Hey ladies!
Hope everyone is having a good week. As for me, I only lost 1 lb this week....and I am disappointed...but I know I shouldn't be...deos that make sense??:confused:
Thanks to all of you who continue to encourage me....it is so hard to stay motivated. I am fine with the eating, but still cannot seem to get moving...I mean, I should be working out RIGHT NOW since both my boys are napping!:confused3 Maybe I will when I am done posting, then post if I did....:goodvibes With only one more weigh in, I am sure I wont get down to the goal of 25lbs for this challenge, but I want to get a good week in, so cross your fingers for me!:hug:
With my cruise rapidly approaching, I need to buckle down. I mean, my dh is being so good about things...telling me I look good...but I told him to get into personal trainer mode!!! I need help! So we will see....;)

Good luck to all of you and thanks to those of you still here sticking with my challenge...it is motivating to have my WISH friends! And I am already ready to work on the next challenge....

Great work, Kamy! "Only" one pound is great, each loss, no matter how big our small is an accomplishment in my book. Keep up the great work, you are doing a wonderful job!

Well, I did it again...got up this morning and did my 2mile WATP workout....
each day is a new day....gotta try and stay motivated!

i did WI this morning, i'm back to my loss reflected on this challenge, maybe I can sneak in another pound this week.

and remember five weeks of 'only one pound loss' will equal a five pound loss! that doesn't sound too shabby to me!! :thumbsup2
 
Updating... not sure when I checked in last because I had a couple of "extra" weigh-ins as I approached the 100 lb. mark. But I've been keeping up with my siggie, so I should now be 40.8/25.

And Kamy... 1 lb. is awesome. There have been weeks I've only lost .2. In my book, a loss is a loss and a stayed-the-same is the next best thing.

Wish it was as easy now as it was in the beginning!
 
Hey everyone,

Greetings from Las Vegas. I stayed the same last week. I arrived here in LV on Saturday and I have not deprived myself ( I actually ate whatever I wanted at a buffet on Saturday), and we have eaten out at the Cheesecake factory (no cheesecake), a Thai restaurant, Einstein bagels one morning for breakfast and the Hush Puppie (I kept to my promise and had water, only two huspuppies, 1 1/2 pieces of Fried Catfish and lots of snow crab legs with no butter. Except for the buffet I have been trying to stop before I'm stuffed, watching my other meals etc. I am proud to say I'm exactly where I was before I left. Who knows, I might even be able to pull out a loss before I go to Disney next week. While I wanted to be at 141 before I left, I'd be happy with 146. I'm at 148 right now.

Kamy - Your doing terrific!! Keep up the great work!

Have a great week everyone. I'm not sure how much I'll get to check in prior to leaving for Disney next week. I'll try to at least log on and say if I lost anything next week!

Hey - Where is everyone!! I hope everyone is doing well.

So far so good. I'm mintaining or at one point showed a loss while here in Vegas. We went to a buffet at the Palms hotel for breakfast this morning. I had an omlet made with canola oil, spinach, onions, mushrooms and tomatoes and just a few strands of skim mozzerella. I also had plain grits and some strawberries and watermelon. I think I did very good considering all the fattening stuff on the buffet.

Its going to feel good to come home and maintain even though I ate a lot of things and didn't deprive myself at all. I ate a little more than I should have yesterday though, but that's ok it seems to be agreeing with me.

Oh - we saw several players from the Dallas Mavericks today at the Palms. The 3 we talked to were Eddie, Terry and I forget the 3rds name. They were really nice and spent quite a bit of time with my son Ryan. He had a Dallas Cowboys t-shirt on, so I think they liked that !!

Where is everyone? I feel like I'm talking to myself, lol!!

I didn't gain in Vegas, and I'm still hoping that by Wednesday or Thursday morning when we leave for WDW that will be down in the 146's (only 5 pounds above the 141 that I wanted to be at when this challenge ended). So far I've proved that I can be a little bad as long as I make better choices sometimes to balance it out. I was plenty "bad" in Vegas, but I had many times I did well and didn't let the all or nothing mentality come into play. I feel this was a good learning experience. Even the times that I was good I was eating stuff that could potentially be bad. I just made good choices and limited the amount I ate or choose something better over something bad. Course there were a few times I ate whatever I wanted too.
 
:welcome: back Melanie -- sounds like you had a great time in LV! thanks for telling us about your great choices in the land of plenty o' fattening foods!! i liked reading of the different place you like to go eat, i hadn't been to any of those. and you didn't gain that is AWESOME!! it does feel good to be in control doesn't it.

i WI this week i haven't changed, i guess technically i lost like .3 lbs b/c i have lost 4 lbs total for this challenge. not near what i had hoped for, i signed up for 6 lbs in July and i just feel like i'm going no where fast!
 
Molli - 4 pounds is pretty good. It's better than gaining. I think I lost a total of around 8 pounds or so total for this challenge.

We are in Georgia right now and tomorrow will wake up and finish the drive into Disney.
