They really need to lower the bar for the gold chest in these events. I never make it to 90K, and it's the only chest offering me new characters. I find that very disappointing.
 
So last evening I got fed up waiting for Gameloft CC to reach out to my ticket I had opened. I went back to the Gameloft website and was able to successfully purchase the Kingdom Pass. This morning, I did see I had received an email regarding my ticket and that they were still working to resolve the issue. I did get the 100 EC for the crow issue. On the D I S C O R D server there was lots of additional discussion on this Kingdom Pass issue.

I did not respond to their response and ask for a refund. So I was curious what would happen. Well I just logged back on to the game and suddenly received some Pin chests, additional 100 EC, some magic and 15K happiness. I am now at level 54 of the Season Pass and have many chests to now open. I basically got bumped 20 levels. Now, I do not know if this 15K happiness is due to them realizing I had purchased the Kingdom Pass a second time. So curious to see if others, who had the same Kingdom Pass issue, what compensation they received.

I got fed up and purchased another pass in the app after about four hours of waiting yesterday. I did request a refund in my ticket for the duplicate pass and they did issue it. The only thing I am missing are the extras I was supposed to get in the GL shop transaction. It seems they decided to refund that one and not the in-game purchase. Would like to still get the extra stuff but I’ll live if I don’t

Oh, and I did receive the stuff in the hot fix update
 

Okay. Wow. I need to add to my response. Just woke up this morning and received the same compensation that you received as well. All kinds of chests and happiness and I am currently at Level 49. Frustrating beginning to this event, for sure, but all ended well

I got the refund for the duplicate pass plus the compensation. The refund is already on my card, so I have that part verified. I’m almost afraid to log into the game now. The Gameloft odds have never been so much in my favor
 
I never requested a refund. I have been thinking I essentially have got the Kingdom Pass twice. I am not going to make any waves about this. I have seen conversations where a few people had requested a refund, after receiving the KP, then 500 gems were taken once the refund was processed. To be honest, I didn't pay close attention to that discussion. Most of the complaints I am seeing are the fact that we, as the consumer, are having to be so proactive in this situation. To my knowledge, this is the second time that they have had this type of problem with the KP on the website.
 
And those complaints are all valid. Their handling of this whole debacle left a lot to be desired. I think I got lucky as I was one of the first to enter a ticket. Maybe they issued my refund before realizing the scope of what was to come? My response did come quickly. I still have all of my gems and my refund. Like I said though, I’m ready to get hit every time I open the app now. Then again, maybe they didn’t deduct anything from me because I don’t even have 500 gems🤣

It does seem like the chatter is dying down now. I’m guessing most folks are getting some sort of resolution and compensation
