Hello Everyone! :wave2:

After much deliberation and time given to this :hourglass , we have decided to go with Sea Breeze Point for our ceremony. My heart was set on having a theme park ceremony and hence because of the new outside vendors rules in the theme park, I am saddened  this will not occur. I am a risk taker, but not that willing to take a chance on pictures and video being messed up (especially after spending thousands of dollars).

On the bright side we are enjoying thinking of ideas on how to make SBP truly our own. pixiedust: We are going to do a dessert party so we will have pictures taken in our wedding clothes, and I'm going to take a chance and do the MK Shoot and Epcot shoot. Do you know how many lands you can choose? Also for the dessert party, does DPS only take pictures at the party or will they take pictures at other locations as we walk to our dessert party site? :coffee:

We are considering doing a sunset wedding at SBP. Can you tell me any pros and cons to doing this? We really want to have some sunset pictures. Thanks! :thumbsup2

You can pick up to three lands at Epcot, but they'll take you to more if there's time.

I went to a sunset wedding this summer where the bride and groom were constantly squinting cuz the sun was right in their eyes the whole time - not sure how those pictures turned out.

But maybe you could find out in which direction the sun sets at SBP... it might not be a problem there. :thumbsup2

I would check with your photographer first on the sunset ceremony. I had thought about using the 5:00 ceremony time for my upcoming Dec ceremony and the sunset was scheduled about 5:30. I e-mailed Randy about it and he said he didn't think the lighting would result in the best pics and suggested trying an earlier time... He's the best! Good luck!

Wow, you booked your photographer almost 2 years out? Lots of things change in two years.

I agree, I don't think the lighting is the best and then for your formal photos it will be dark. Taking photos in the dark is completely different let me tell you. We were able to take photos in the world showcase after our dessert party and while they turned out fantastic it was so difficult to get the shots and we had to keep moving around to try and utilize the surrounding light.

This is exactly the type of feedback I needed to hear. We are going to shoot for 12 noon.

No... I haven't booked anything yet:rotfl2: . I just contacted Randy for some info and prices and it's one of the things he included in an e-mail! He is super nice though... but I love Misty's pics too. I'm waiting til I'm closer to decide!

Oh ok. I hope that didn't sound rude lol. I just meant that you change your mind SO much in wedding planning so I don't think putting down deposits that you will lose is a good idea this early. I know there are a few things I would have liked to change but it was too late because it wasn't worth it to lose the deposit. :goodvibes

Oh no I didn't take it as rude at all... more so as good advice:thumbsup2** I actually read on another one of your posts somewhere that you would have changed a few things if you wouldn't have already booked... I don't know what because you had a gorgeous wedding:lovestruc. Sometimes it's tempting to just book something because I'm sick of waiting but instead I'll just continue with my addiction to these boards:lmao:

my two cents:

1 ~ we had a 12noon ceremony at SBP and it was perfect!!! great photos!

2~ We booked Randy 18 months out and never regretted it :thumbsup2 If you know, you know!
