Has anyone stayed here, and if so could you tell me what the area is like?, my family and I are looking at renting a villa here in Feb 09. Many Thanks ;)

I haven't stayed at Sunset Lakes but usually stay in other subdivisions in that area and it is very nice, quiet, safe and close to Disney. It's in the Formosa Gardens area and only about 7 min from Disney AK using Sherberth Rd. There are restaurants and grocery stores within 3 or 4 minutes. Outback Steakhouse, Red Lobster, Golden Corral, Crackerbarrel are just a few out of a million in that area. Other subdivisions close to Sunset Lakes are Emerald Island, Oak Island Cove, Formosa Gardens Estates, Indian Creek, Windsor Hills, Rolling Hills, Windsor Palms, Acadia Estates, Lindfields etc.

We will also be in the area, right next door to be exact in Emerald Island Resort. It is a great area to rent in. Minutes to restaurants, grocers and of course the parks. Hope it all works out and hope you have a great vacation.

We stayed in Sunset Lakes in 06 and will be staying there again in October. We love it. The house we stay in is at the end of the street near woods and has a lake view. What little time we spent in the neighborhood was quiet, and there is a community pool and playground (maybe a couple, I'm not sure) It's a quick drive to WDW, and even quicket to Publix grocery store and there are tons of restaurants in the area.
