I think the biggest difference is that Sunset Seasons Greetings doesn't run in a constant loop like it did in some previous years. I couldn't quite get a read on it, but it seems like it runs roughly every half an hour, with the rest of the time being the Beacons of Magic projection/overlay.
When Sunset Seasons Greetings runs, it has four segments, in order: Frozen, Toy Story, Muppets, Mickey's Christmas Carol. (I think the order was different before.) I didn't scrutinize the individual segments to see if they'd changed at all, but it felt the same as previous years.
I've seen it twice - they had "snow" blowing over the street the first time I saw it, but not the second. Not sure if there's any rhyme or reason to that.
