Planning our first WDW vacation and I have need of opinions on a few things.

First off, what is a good sunscreen for the parks. I am looking for one that is long lasting and easy to apply on the kids.

Any recommendation for a good waterproof mascara?

And we are most likely going to do a load of laundry while at the resorts. Any recommended all-in-one drop-in sheets?

Thanks in advance! :goodvibes

I bought several travel size Walgreens brand sunscreens for my last trip in SPF 50, and we didn't have a single burn! It's affordable at 2 for $5.00 too. My mom had suggested it, and she was right! Don't tell her I said that though.

I would say any waterproof mascara would do the job. I haven't had any that were better than the other as far as being waterproof goes.

I refuse to do laundry on vacation, but Purex 3 in 1 sheets are what everyone seems to use. I sell them, but have never used them! I will take a couple this time as we are going for 11 days, so I want to have the option to do laundry if necessary. My customers swear by them and they tend to fly off the table.

I use the Purex 3 in 1 sheets in Disney and they work just great. Easy, light and no mess.

My vote is for the Purex 3 in 1 sheets also...very easy and smells nice enough. For sunscreen, I usually like the sport ones- like Coppertone or even the No-Ad brand. I always buy the spray ones though since it is very quick and easy to spray on a squirming child. And the stick ones for applying to faces and ears...:goodvibes

Loreal Voluminous Mascara- Waterproof form ,but not the newer Carbon Black, that seems to be a dif form I live in SFla, its been 86 the past few days, so I use the waterproof all year and I love it but you need more than soap and water to take it off. I use the CVS brand eye makeup remover in the travel size-$2.50-and it works good.

I just picked up 3 travel tubes of Waterbabies 50 SPF sunscreen today.
We are going in June.
I figure if it is made to protect baby skin, it will be good...
I still use this on my 10 year old at the pool every summer and he has never been burned. The tubes were 99 cents at Target in the travel section.

I also picked up 2 travel packets of Tide liquid detergent.
We didn't do laundry when we went in October, but I have a feeling our clothes will be quite funky from the June heat/sweat, so I am planning on doing a load one night while we are hanging out at the pool waiting for EMH at MK.

Maybeline waterproof mascara is great (the good old pink tube).

We only use Neutrogena Cool Mist sunscreen with Helioplex spf +75 or spf +100.

I've found that most of the Japanese mascaras blow the other brands out of the water. You may have to get alot of them on ebay but I've found that I really love the Kiss Me Heroine, Kaneba Kate Curl Memory Waterproof, Kaneba Kate Doll Lashes, and the Shu Uemura waterproof brands. I usually take the Kiss Me Heroine with me to Florida. The only problem is, that it can be rather difficult to get off. You would need to carry a small bottle of cleansing oil as well as your usual facial cleanser. Cleansing oils will easily get them straight off, but that's about all that will budge them.:rotfl:

Great questions. I'm not sure about the mascara or sunscreen, but another vote for the 3 in 1 sheets...they are SOOOO light and easy to pack.

For sunscreen, we go with one of the spray on waterproof kinds. Then I carry around one of those small sunscreen sticks with me to reapply to my face as I sweat it off during the day. (We go in the summer usually, so I SWEAT!)

For mascara, I like Sumptuous Waterproof by Estee Lauder. That stuff stays on and makes your lashes look amazing!

I don't do laundry in Disney. So I can't speak to that.

I love Avon's wash off waterproof mascara:love: Washes off with soap and water so no need for extra makeup remover.

Absolutely love the Purex 3-n-1 sheets for vacation. Last week at CVS they were on sale for 3.99 and in the Sunday paper there was a $3 off coupon so I got mine for 99 cents. As for sunscreen we use the spray on Coppertone sport. I like that it is non greay and there is no rubbing in involved. We use it in Disney as soon as we get out of the shower before we get dressed.
