I just saw my little count-down and thought that must be wrong! Then I got so excited because it isn't!!!

We are going in mid January and was wondering - should I pack sunscreen?

Thanks!

I will be down in the world 12/30-1/10, and am packing my sunscreen! It can't hurt to have it and put it on when you are in FL...i think experts recommend you wearing it everyday.

Let's hope for lots of sun and warm temperatures!

Yes, pack your sunscreen! I live in MN, and even in the winter I wear sunscreen when outdoors. We have lots of skiers and snowboarders around here with winter tans! The sun can cause burns no matter the outdoor temp, and rays even get through when it is cloudy! I would hate for a burn to ruin your vacation...one of your relatives might then be tempted to sunburn slap you (ode to delswife!)!! BTW, I will be at WDW in Jan too (with my sunscreen on, of course:D )!

Definitely bring the sunscreen. We got fried on one of our February trips. The sun is alot stronger in Fla than I thought.

just to let you know! It wasn't bad, but my pastey-white NH skin wasn't used to that warm FL sun!! And I wasn't sitting in the sun all day.... just spent the morning (til about 1pm) puttering around DTD, in and out of shops. So YES.. you need the sunscreen!!...P:Pinkbounc

According to my dermatologist you need sunscreen every day of the year no matter where you live. I've been using spf 15 on my face since I was 28, I'm 42 now and I don't have any lines or wrinkles (yet - knock, knock on wood).

Yep - bring the sunscreen! I have also picked up sunglasses for each of my kid's Christmas stockings - that Florida sun is so strong! Even in January.

See you there! Yippee!

Yes, bring it. We were at the taping of the Christmas Parade Saturday and after an hour or so in the sun both our faces were red. It was around 50 degrees but that sun was bright! You can get burnt at anytime, infact any doctor will tell you more people get burnt on cold or overcast days because they think they will not so they neglect the use of sunscreen.

Yes! I would bring some along!! As a redhead I always burn and so do my kids. I brought this sunscreen applicator sponge with me called Moon Block and it made applying sunscreen to my kids so much easier. I was so thankful for it!!
