Sunscreen for scalp/hair?

You can use a small amount of baby powder (just enough so your hair doesnt look white :rotfl:) to get rid of the oilyness :goodvibes
Yes that does work, but be careful. Your hair may no longer be oily but now it'll be full of static! You gotta choose the lesser of the two evils.

As for the scalp sunscreen there is a great product I found a few years ago. It is no longer available but I have found it on ebay a bunch of times. It's from the Redken Sun Shape line, the Moisterizing Sun Jelly. It's a hair gel with a very light hold that protects your scalp and your hair from the sun. It's not sticky or oily and washes out easily.

I personally like Coppertone Sport Aerosol Spray. It makes the hair feel a little like you are wearing hairspray, but it sprays on easily and covers well.

I have used "scalp screen" in the past and hated the way it made my hair feel also. I bought Neutagena spray (pump) sunscreen, sprayed it into it's little lid, and applied it to the part in my hair with a q-tip. This way it doesn't really affect my hair.

Check out Evil Bald Guy. Finally, some manly sunscreen for your head.
