Can anyone give me any info on the sunrise safari? Do they still offer this, what days, times, and prices? We would love to do this the kids this trip, we always try to do something different each trip.

It is my understanding that this is available only to Concierge guests at the AKL. Contact the concierge for details.

It is $50 a person and includes breakfast after the safari. The safari is 45minutes with photo opportunities. It is early before the park opens.

My DH and I are planning on going in December. I already have the Concierge working on various Tours and dining for us.

There is a backstage safari at the Animal Kingdom. it is 3 hours walking. No photos. It is $65.00 plus park admission. M/W/TH/Fri. Contact Disney TOURS.

we did the SS two weeks ago and it was fantastic! yes, only open to concierge guests of AKL. it is a bit cheaper for kids ( i don't remember off hand!). you meet in the Kilimanjaro club the morning of-- to register and you can have a coffee. then we met in the sunset overlook - this was at 715am. then we boarded busses about 730a. drive over, the back way, to AK. this itself was interesting too. had a expert on the bus. then we did the safari which lasted an hour. it's a nice slow pace, with plenty of opportunity for pix and questions.

then a FANTASTIC breakfast buffet at tusker house- and you also get a fast pass to do it again.
it's on sundays and thursdays.
highly recommended!!

This is one of the best tours at WDW. It is restricted to AKL concierge guests. You meet an hour or so before the park opens and do the tour at the back section of the AK. After this you do the safari tour with a guide who will explain everything about the park such as the resting area for the crocs and the hidden bird feeder for the flamingos. The driver is free to stop at any time and let you get some good pictures of the animals. You may also see some CMs bringing animals into the park.

After the ride, you have a great breakfast buffet and then they give you a fast pass to ride the Safari ride again. It is a great tour.
