Sunrise Safari ?

We are thinking about splitting our stay next July between CR (4nights) and AKL Concierge (2 nights). The problem is we get off our cruise on Thurs and will check in at the CR and will check in at AKL on Monday and leave Wed.

The sunrise Safari is only held on Sundays and Thursdays right? Can we do the sunrise Safari on Sunday if we have not checked in at AKL? Even if we split the stays 3 days and 3 days, we still won't be checking in at the AKL until Sunday, and we'd have to do it at 6:00am or earlier to make the safari. I don't know if we'll be up to it. Any help is appreciated TIA!

If the safari is held on Sun, you must be a guest checked in on Sat or Sun. If the safari is held on Thur, you must be a guest checked in on Wed or Thur.

You must be an AKL or AKV Concierge guest on the morning it is offered to do the safari. Costs about $60 per person, less for kids under 10.

Thanks for the answers! I was afraid of that. Oh well I guess we won't split our stay. The only reason we were going to do AKL was for the sunrise safari. DD saw it on a Samantha Brown special and really liked it.

Maybe we will split our stay and do YC or Beach Club, DD will like SAB. Don't know, after the cruise we might not want to pack and unpack, pack and unpack.
