Sunpass Question - Does it come with some $$ preloaded?

If I purchase the sunpass transponder that can be used in different vehicles - for multiple trips - does it come pre-loaded with some amount of $$ on it, or do I have to load it after paying the 20+ for purchase?

If so, how much?

What about the 1 time use sticker type?

hears the 411 with sun pass it just like e-zpass with one expiation you can either get a min pass witch is just a sticker with is not transferable or pay $20.00 dollars for a transponder that you can use in any car. the same $10.00 rule applies your prepaying so the up front coast is $30.00 dollars and $10.00 available for use not unless you add more money to your account .

Thanks for the responses. That's what I thought, just wasn't sure. At one point in time I could have sworn that the mini came preloaded with some of the money you spent on it. I could have been mistaken though. I'm just toying with the idea of getting one that can be used over and over for our upcoming trip, and just store it with the rest of our stuff in our "Disney Box" between trips. Wanted to know for sure what I was buying and what it came with. For whatever reason, maybe my head-cold, I couldn't seem to find any information that answered that question on their website.

At our store the non transferable pass is $4.99 plus tax & transferable one is $24.99 plus tax. If I remember right after you set up your account & load funds or attach to a credit card you get credited the cost of the pass. (It may have changed though). I've had mine 3 years (the non transferable one) and love it. Only gets used when we go to wdw but it's cheaper to have the sun pass than pay cash at the booths. I have mine reloaded automatically if I run below $10. You also have a specific time frame for activating it before being able to use it too.

I suspect, Eeyore's My Favorite, that it may have changed. I can't find any info on their site about a credit being applied equal to the cost or part of the cost of the transponder. Given the frequency of our trips, it might not make sense for me to purchase at this time...but my mind isn't fully made up yet.
