i desperately would like to go to to some character breakfasts but dbf (almost disney wedding couple)does not like scrambled egg and i know he could just avoid it but would like him to have variety otherwise he won't do as many!

now my question is can you ask for a fried eggs(sunny side up) especially the breakfast with stitch?

We've done 'Ohana and CM and I don't remember alternatives to scrambled eggs. You may be able to request them, though.

sunny side up will leave a little of the egg goo (white not completely cooked) sometimes.

I ask for over medium, tell them just enough to get rid of goo and leave me yolk for my toast.

Unfortunately the eggs at the stitch breakfast at Ohana are your everyday, pateurized-from-a-carton variety. There is nothing you can do with these but scramble them or maybe make omelets... they are already 'beaten' together in the processing before they ever arrive at the restaurant.

My frequent travel partner is also a no-scrambled-eggs guy, and usually just skips them at character breakfasts and other buffets, although we often used to do breakfast at concourse steakhouse where he could get them any way he pleased. Alas, no more. :sad2:

Anyone had any experience at Chef Mickey's lately? I know they used to have an omlete station that you could ask for egg white omeletes - maybe they could do it there?

Crystal Palace definitely has a made-to-order omelette station that also offers eggs any style... i had over easy w/my toast when we were there and they were awesome! :)

Boma will make you over easy eggs...we were there on Sunday and a woman sitting across from us had them

Since 'Ohana shares the kitchen with Kona, a simple request for that should not be a problem. And they probably would not charge extra.

Now where was that information when we went? :rotfl:

We had no such luck asking our 'cousin', but then I didn't know about the shared kitchen - that would have made me stand up for it more.

Just wait til next trip lol

1900 Park Fare will make you that sort of egg since it has the omlette station.

Cape May doesn't have an omlette station and neither does Chef Mickey's or O'Hana. But you should definitely ask, they may be quite happy to specially make one for your fiancee.

thanks everyone! now there is no excuse not to have a character breakfast! mmmmmmm american pancakes with crispy bacon and maple syrup and that wonderful whipped butter- can't wait
