Sunless tanner tips needed!

The spray tan stays on for several days, but there is usually a "bronzer" mixed in with the spray so you get instant results. The bronzer can rub off on your clothes/white bra when you first get dressed. The bronzer will wash off, however so don't be alarmed when you take your first shower the water will run brown - definitely shower before swimming after you get it done.
The down side really is the actual act of getting sprayed! It's a little unnerving when it blasts you in the face... Also, i had to do all these charlie's angels type poses!

I think the biggest problem for me would be that I would have to wear very little clothing. I have been pregnant six times people! I don't usually care on an every day basis, but to put it out there for people to view...I have no concept of how many people would see me, but even one would be rough. To be honest, I don't really care if I am pale. My tattoo artist once told me that he loved my pale skin b/c it was a beautiful canvas to work on. That helped me accept my pale skin as beautiful. When people tease me I am okay with it, but my hubby has never said anything like that before about being interested in me getting one for my cruise. hmmm.... What to do. I don't think the best place for it to be leaking everywhere is on a cruise. I guess I will try some stuff at home and see what happens. I am usually too lazy to keep up with it, which is the biggest problem. Guess maybe I will try the Jergens. Thanx for the info!

NO - no one has to see you! You go into this booth-like thing, close the doors and wait for the unsettling spray to come at you! Although, you can get spray applied on you by a person at some places, but i am too self conscious for that...I usually only do it once a year if we're going on vacation and I know i will have to be in a bathing suit, etc. every day. My husband gets annoyed, he thinks i should embrace my Irish paleness...

Your clothes would definitely get ruined/sprayed.

I have never done the booths but have done the the Air Brush when someone applies it. I loved the results, they say to exfoliate and to wear dark clothing because it will stain your clothes afterwards.

The only self-tanner I will use is in the form of a mousse. Neutrogena used to make one, but now I use Fake Bake. It's awesome!!!! Non-greasy, no odor, lightweight, no orange color, dries instantly, lasts long, and can be used on the entire body, including the face. I've tried many, many others, including Jergens and Loreal but none of them compare to Fake Bake.
