Sunday vs Monday

Should we expect Sunday Sept 29 to be much busier than Monday the 30th? We only have one day to do DL and originally planned on the Monday. Due to conflicting schedules with family in the area we may have to switch to Sunday.

Sundays are usually not that bad, and are usually better than Mondays. In fact, there's a bit of a long standing feeling that Mondays are actually one of the most crowded days to go for some reason that no one has quite been able to figure out. So I wouldn't worry about going on a Sunday.

However, the crowd patterns have not been normal this year, so it's impossible to say what any given day is going to be like. Just plan for there to be crowds to deal with, and know your best approach to accomplishing the things you want to do.

This was our experience all 2018 when we had APs and were making a lot of Sunday/Monday trips. Mondays were the worst.

If I had to choose between Sunday and Monday, I’d choose Sunday in a heartbeat! No contest.

I'm going on 9/29 Sunday as well!
I'm choosing to go on Sunday because even though DCA has the Oogie Boogie Bash going on, DL will have all its nighttime entertainment (Fireworks, Fantasmic, MSEP)!

Both are the slowest days to go. The shows will be better on Sunday. I'm not sure about the hours for either day though.

That will be the last weekend for MSEP (ends on 9/30, Monday). So if you will be wanting to see the parade, make sure to plan ahead for viewing spots.
