Here's a chart showing MK average wait times from July reopening through mid-December: https://i2.wp.com/easywdw.com/reports16/magic_kingdom_wait_times_december_18_full.jpg
I'll let the numbers speak for themselves.
I mean, yes, weekends are much busier at MK. But that was also true pre-Covid. What is different is that on (non-holiday week) weekdays, the crowds are quite a bit lower than they used to because there are fewer out-of-town travelers and local APs can't visit as easily after school/work due to the shorter hours.Under current circumstances, is there still a difference in demand between days? I have heard/read that weekends may be busier as locals visit the Parks.

I can't pull up the full AK chart for some reason, but there's a late September to mid-December chart in this article: https://www.easywdw.com/easy/blog/walt-disney-world-wait-times-and-news-for-12-18-2020/do you have a chart like that for animal kingdom?

I was trying to find epcot too.I can't pull up the full AK chart for some reason, but there's a late September to mid-December chart in this article: https://www.easywdw.com/easy/blog/walt-disney-world-wait-times-and-news-for-12-18-2020/
There's a Hollywood Studios chart in there too. No Epcot though. If you can't guess, that article was my source for the MK chart.
It's like picking an aisle at the grocery store. Don't second guess it, lol.I’ve heard from many that Monday is much busier than Sunday for a variety of reasons. Does your own experience match this and how? Tuesday is also an option. Thank you
As I understand it, the chart uses the official expected Disney wait times taken from MDE. They calculate the average by taking all the given wait times and divide by the number of attractions that have wait times, possibly adjusting for times when certain attractions are down or otherwise unavailable. Is that a chart of wait times or attendance? I have no idea how they would calculate an 'average' wait time for all of the rides in a park. Even when we are at Disney, the posted 'wait time' at the ride entrance is hardly ever correct. Not sure how any 3rd party would be able to accumulate such data. I think more locals with AP's tend to go when home on the weekends which tends to make it more crowded. Most people work M-F even if from home during covid.
Since Disney started that need to reserve a park due to covid, I think they have better data on expected attendance. However, I doubt they would make that available to the public and other parks like Universal would probably use it to their advantage.
